Accidental Kiss (Kaoru Kirishima)

#4) An accidental brush of lips followed by a pause and going back for another, on purpose.
The autumn wind blew on your face, while the sun peeked out and spread warmth all across your body. You woke up way too early and you couldn’t go back to sleep, so you just thought to step outside on the patio and take in the morning sun with Tama.
“Hey girl.” you said, scratching the top of her head while she purred and laid down next to you.
As you closed your eyes, you could feel everything; the sun on your cheeks, the breeze on your skin, the birds greeting one another, Tama cuddled up to your side and purring. After some time, you no longer felt the sun and opened your eyes to see Kaoru above you with his hair sticking up on the back of his head.
“Good morning.” you heard him say, bringing his hand to his eyes and rubbing them like a child.
“Good morning to you too.” you replied with a kiss on the cheek.
You handed him your mug of coffee for him to wake up, and headed over to the kitchen to start breakfast. With a yawn, you pulled out the eggs.
Breakfast was set up and eaten quickly, as the both of you were hungry from not eating anything the night before. After finishing the last bite of your scrambled eggs, you picked up the empty plates and headed over to the sink.
“_______. You can leave them, I’ll do it.” Kaoru said, as he gulped down the rest of his coffee.
You waved him away, and started soaping up the sponge, when you felt large hands grab at your waist. You quickly turned around to see a determined Kaoru that wasn’t going to take no for an answer. You could feel his breath on your lips and you swore that time stopped still as the two of you stared into each other’s eyes, almost hungry for something. The redness in your cheeks worked itself down to your neck, where you could feel both heat and coldness on your body. Kaoru’s grip loosened on your hips as he pushed you softly to the side so he could do the dishes.
Oh. Right. This was about chores. You completely forgot.
“No, Kaoru! I got it so you-” you started as you pushed towards him, when you felt something brush on your lips. Something soft. His lips.
You two were looking straight at each other, now completely forgetting about the dirty dishes in the sink and focusing only on the brief sensation of his lips on your lips.
“Sorry..” Kaoru whispered, tearing his eyes away from yours.
He turned back to the sink, when you surprised yourself with your voice.
You grabbed his face and kissed him, not knowing how hungry you were for it. Your lips worked in complete harmony with Kaoru’s lips, both of you getting heated more and more by the second. His hands started to slide up your body and explore, while yours did the same.
Breakfast was finished, and now it was time for dessert.
