Mordvins

The Mordvins are a Finno-Ugric ethnic group, who live mainly in the Republic of Mordovia and other parts of the middle Volga River region of Russia. They identify themselves as separate ethnic groups: the Erzya and Moksha. They speak Mordvinic languages ( closely related Erzya language and Moksha language ).

After me talking about noctilucent clouds the other night and complaining that I didn’t get a sharp photo, I looked out the window about half an hour ago and the sky was lit up with them! I grabbed the camera and jumped in the car to get a clear view over the water, missing a deer by about 3 inches on the way. This is the sight that greeted me when I got to the shore.
