Hello! im a queer black trans masc person in need of financial help so i am able to get an autism diagnosis. i have been struggling all my life without the support i need. Especially through my late teen years to now. Im about to restart my second year of university. due to the mental stress of covid and my lack of support i have had to retake the year and i’m worry that it will just end the same this year as i’m unable to access any help or resources without an official diagnosis 

My family is currently struggling financially and I’ve spent a lot of my money this year trying to support my mum and brother at home as well as myself while being at university. I have not been able to save any wages over the summer as they either go towards my rent or towards helping my mum with bills as her financial situation keeps changing. 

Waiting lists on the NHS are very long and i’m yet to even get onto it as my doctor took me of their records and i haven’t be able to reapply yet. Im trying to get diagnosed privately but these diagnoses cost a lot of money which i don’t have. I currently work full time but will have to leave when i return to uni in a few weeks. i do get a student loan but it is only just enough to cover the cost of rent and bills so its not possible for me to save from that. Im hoping to get my diagnosis (or at least begin getting assessed) by the end of the year so i am able to complete my second year of University with the support i desperately need. 

If you could share/boost this post I’d really appreciate it. Any size donation will help me out! massively! I need to save £1950 by the end of October/ start of November to have any hope of getting my diagnosis this year. If you read all of this thank you so much!

Hello! Since my last post I have been able to get my autism diagnosis which is great and I also had to have a separate psychiatric appointment. It ended up being £900 for the asd assessment and the £350 for the psychiatric assessment, which the donations did not cover. It’s a huge weight of my shoulders now but I’ve been left with little money. I have left myself short for rent this month and I desperately need to pay on time or they will start charging me a late fee.

My rent is due on the 15th of December and I need about £100 to have enough to pay for that plus other bills. Please boost if you can
