I’ve really grown attached to the folks who go, and our Thursday evening ritual of drawing together.

SO I’m setting up my own life drawing group! I’m nervous and excited and just wanted acknowledge this because it feels like a big deal.

I couldn’t seem to get an even tone on the paper, but I’m not sure why.

Anyway, here are my faves.

It’s been a while. Things have been super busy for me lately, and I don’t think I’ll be able to come back to this for a while so posting it as it is. Reference screenshot was from the astral prism - the light in there is so pretty. he has the cutest lips here! Video under the cut.

I didn’t get many good photos under the UV light 🙈 but I did another neon life drawing session today! I’m a bit out of practice as Lisa has been a lot the last few weeks but quite like this picture.

I forgot to upload my last life drawing class of the term! The final week was using paint sticks, crayons and watercolour which was really quite freeing. I don’t love any of these, but I had a lot of fun drawing them. Because we usually use weird materials or techniques, it was kind of nice to have the chance to do a figure in (mostly) watercolours (top left) and go “ohhh, so I *do* still remember how to make a drawing that actually looks like a human!” 😂

My first print was a little light, and another had a bit too much ink, but overall I think I got the hang of how much ink to use on the plate.

Can’t stop, won’t stop drawing the goofy elf looking moody. I have so many screenshots of this man that my phone keeps suggesting photo albums of him, and gave me an “Astarion through the years” overview the other day 💀 I probably need to get out more.

A while back, I did some life drawing where I played with a more simplistic, graphic style. I liked it! I finally spent some time turning one of my drawings into a digital piece. I kinda want to make her a sticker or a bookmark now.

At the last life drawing class, we used ink and some mad implements including smashed up kebab skewers and steel scrubbers on a stick 😂 the drawings are consequently pretty wild, but I liked this first one that I just used a stick as a dip pen for.
