“well…” ryan drew out the single word for dramatics, as though his mind weren’t already made up. after all, he’d made it his foolish mission to prove that he and the entirety of crashing corners could make any event fun, especially in comparison to shy violets. “—since you asked so nicely,” the male drawled, eyebrows waggling, “i do a mean macarena after all. not quite sure you can handle it.”

“What?” Heather laughed as she glanced at the girl, a coy grin on her face as her head shook in a no but her body moved towards the dance floor “I’m really not much of a dancer without alcohol in me- more of a watcher but not like, in a creepy way” she laughed, still moving forward and beginning to sway to the beat “If I step on you it’s your fault”

“come dance with me!” sage repeats, the smile on her face only getting bigger. sage shakes her head at heather’s comment, “that doesn’t matter! no ones watching here” sage giggles at the girl. but they were soon on the dance-floor, “don’t worry ‘bout it! my feet can handle it”.

Savanna couldn’t really say she had any real idea of how to pace herself, and really with an open bar and the fact that so long as they weren’t lies she didn’t really care much if people talked shit she really wasn’t going to try, but at least she did know how to not get covered in her drink on the dance floor, putting away a couple of shots before turning to head over to the dance floor and immediately slamming into someone.

“Shit-” She exclaimed, being cut off by the other before she could start apologizing herself and with the offer of a drink she really wasn’t about to say no, “Sure thing.”

“Don’t use your logic on me,” Cole said grumpily, even more annoyed that Sage was right…or rather, that he was wrong. He hated to be wrong. If he had to admit Bandslam’s sponsorship, he also had to admit the song overhead was very catchy. Cole’s eyes darted immediately to the small stage to see who was playing, his feet already bopping to the beat. “Who is this?” he asked Sage when he didn’t immediately recognize the band.

sage gives him a teasinging grin, "i will do no such thing!" she replies. she just saw this as a fun event to get drunk at, she didn’t see why everyone was getting upset about it. but then again she didn’t have much happening in her life for bandslam to drag through the mud. sage notices his feet bopping to the beat, just what she wanted to see. “hm. i think their called heavy petting ---- pretty cool guys” she carries on, “so cole --- lets see your moves!”.

“Sage, no,” Cole protested, resisting the girl’s pull ever-so-slightly. But he didn’t have it in him to fully reject such an innocent and harmless request. He trudged begrudgingly after Sage onto the dance floor, making no attempt to hold back a grumbly, “They really went all out with this dance floor considering they supposedly have no money.”

“cole, yes!” the girl pouts, she was going to get the male on the dance-floor, no matter what it took. sage just wanted to dance with someone and enjoy the night, she wasn’t one to hide t events such as this one. soon the pair were on the dance floor, she takes his hands and begins to swing them a little, “oh yeah! they’ve probably got sponsors or are just deep in debt” a giggle leaves her lips, “but who cares!” .

“wells - what a surprise,” he exclaimed with a beaming grin, still being way too loud for such early hours of the day. “how’s it goin, kid?” he asked, his tone probably slightly patronizing, but well-meaning in a manner similar to an adolescent boy talking to his younger sister. he promptly fetched his drink before returning to the booth where she had now joined him. “san francisco. what can i say? even LA has me yearning for a change of scenery sometimes.” he admitted before taking a sip of his coffee, feeling the heat of the added whiskey as it made its way down his throat. “what’s goin’ on with you, violet? anything interesting or what?”

"nice to see you too ricky" she gives him a smile back, secretly she’d missed him but she still was going to give him shit for leaving. “uh -- it’s going good for once” sage replies as the two make their way over to the booth. “seriously?! lucky for some! what was it like? i know the feeling” sage wished she could travel the world or at least the country but money was an issue. she didn’t have much of it. “nothing much really. just been drumming for shy violets as always, i’m not that exciting” a chuckle leaves her lips. 

HUGO: oh !!! thank goodness

HUGO: i'll grab a big tub.

HUGO: any particular flavour ur in the mood for??

HUGO: are u a chunky icecream person or like a plain flavour person

SAGE: yesss, i can't wait to see u

not at the moment, no. she’s too busy focusing on drumming and shy violets stuff. but she does notice and appreciate cute people, one day she hopes to start seeing someone!

right now it’s lets dance to joy division by the wombats but it changes so much tbh. she does have a little list of favourite songs, she’s a bit of a nerd.

gee leans back on the couch, putting her feet up on the coffee table and letting out a light chuckle. ❝ oh come on, girl drummers are hot. i’m sure people are interested and you’re just not paying attention, ❞ she teases. while geeta had dated in the past, she wasn’t exactly seeking out dates. she was too focused on the band and on making sure everything they recorded was exactly right to put herself out there. or at least, that was part of the issue. ❝ living with my ex doesn’t exactly bring all the boys and girls to my yard. ❞
