Upon examining this gem from Weta, It occurred to me that the “blood” on Bolg’s chin isn’t  blood; not in the sense many may think. It’s not the result of drinking Dwarf blood by the gallons. What we are seeing are actually Scars! Scars caused by the two large center chest blades on his armor. Most likely he scratches/cuts his chin on them when not careful.

My Weta Bolg statue arrived! Fist thing he does when set down on my desk was pop off on Lurtz! Lol. Check out the size difference between the two....Those Gundabad boys are beasts, no! Bolg’s scale goes nicely with Azog.
