The OG (Scholar, Herbalist) AU would be Diamonds because I feel like that is very OG!Nadjrish. Awkward and pretty.

The Alchemist AU would be Hearts since it's the world with Uralis in it.

The Swordsman AU should be Clubs. Steady and cute, I feel like that works.

He had no means of knowing what was going on back home whilst sitting in the dark continent, not unless he put in serious effort to be in the know, which he didn't care to.

Upon coming back home, he learned that,

His brother had had his first child

Even had his second

His first wife croaked

He married a second wife

Had his third child

The fourth was on the way.

One day, he chose to venture onto the dark continent and settled himself there. I can't claim his parents had made any effort whatsoever to convince their son otherwise, but I can say with certainty that he found relief in that very fact.
