ive mentioned this in one of my other ted hc posts but one of my favourite ted kord headcanons is that he dyed his hair red during (or just before) the first year of college

specifically after his appearance in JLA: year one #3 i feel like he wanted to rebel/stand out a bit more, especially since i think of him as always being this straight A excellence student AND (kinda basing this off of a quote from countdown to infinite crisis) not having much friends in highschool due to others thinking he's a nerd or something 😭😭 (i mean he is)
