Moiraâs eyes immediately shot from Deckerâs face towards the glass he put before her, a pause as she listened to his bold words. She mightâve thought it rude of him, a lack of manners with his sarcastic reply to her inquiries, yet as she thought more about the situation, Decker only seemed to be playing in her favor. She knew this man was a drunkard, even without seeing him in a bar, she could smell the days worth of drinks that poured through his lips on his breath.
âOf courseâŠâ Moira took the glass from his hand as she replied and turned her attention to the bartender. She was not a much of a drinker herself, only partaking in a celebration or two, yet she knew enough about these drinks to select only the most alcoholic of shots. Handing the glass over, she requested a refill and a shot of B-52, a mixture she recalled to be at least over 65%.
âI hope this is to your satisfaction?â She asked, sliding the two glasses back over, âI admit I donât partake in such activities myselfâŠâ
If there was at least something he could agree to, it was someone who was willing to buy him drinks. Even if it wasnât exactly the smartest thing to do, especially for someone who worked for such a clandestine organization, he still needed his alcohol.
âHuh, hard stuff right here. Though Iâve have harder.â Taking the glass, Decker quickly drank it up, before placing the now empty glass on the counter. Of course, the moment he heard that Moira wasnât the kind of social drinker that he was, it was enough for Decker to let out an incredulous cough.
âYou donât drink shots? Come on, thatâs ridiculous. Everyone does shots. Here, let me help you out there,â Waving over to the bartender, the agent quickly shouted, âhey, can you get a bottle of gin for my friend and I?â
With an almost arrogant grin on his face, Decker turned towards Moira. âHow about it? Since youâre here, why not enjoy yourself a bit? You can take as many shots as you want, you know, help loosen the vocal cords and what not.â
