I assume you're from everskies, and i dont want to make this too long because I found the thread where this is all coming from and responded on there since no one really confronted me, but ill address a couple of things here because i really dont want to make anyone uncomfortable. First of all, I'm very sorry for making you uncomfortable. I never really saw a problem with the stuff i used to reblog because it was all either images I thought were nice and I could use as art references or anime art and cute images. I get how it comes off though and I'm sorry, I'll clean out my archive because I get that asianfishing is much more than just appearance, and I don't want to come off in a way that I didn't intend. Another thing is I genuinely do not see how I'm "Asianfishing" since I've never altered my appearance in order to appear another race. As I stated on everskies in the thread, I get that "Dolly makeup" is pretty cliche and an immediate fall back for a lot of people but BDJ and porcelain dolls is something I do take a lot of inspo from, hence the black circle lenses in order to make my eyes look bigger. Even without the lenses though (since they hurt to wear most of the time and i only am able to really wear them for pics) my eyeshape doesnt change. I've posted videos and photos of me on social media, all which were taken through snapchat so my features werent photoshopped or anything. I can even post pictures of me with my family too if thats necessary, as well as a pic of me without makeup. Its really just my face/ eyeshape and it isn't something i've ever altered. Even when I was much younger and had a completely different style, my eyeshape still looked like how it does in all of my pictures. From watching a lot of tiktoks about the topic, I get that it is a combination of many things that makes something asian fishing, but for me its really hard to understand what I am doing wrong with my appearance, since it is just my eyeshape. I know this is a real issue and I honestly do take so much time to try and educate myself about the topic since I think that because I enjoy a lot of asian media like anime, it is only right for me to ensure that I am educated. i shouldn't just enjoy other people's cultures without standing up for problems and injustices they may face. but it is really tiring when I dont know what I can do about my appearance since it is just my eyeshape. I changed the cherry blossom everskies profile theme and even if you look at my tumblr archive right now, I barely use it and only really reblog anime inspired art stuff. If you have any advice, I'd appreciate it.
