When one cup just isn't enough.

Korey couldn’t tell if it was the heat or if the equipment manager gave him a “one-size-fits-nobody” athletic cup, but something was seriously off. He spent half of warmups adjusting, tugging, and squatting. Fans got a bigger show before the first pitch than they paid for. At this point, Korey figured maybe he needed a pre-game “cup fitting” from the equipment guy— with awkward eye contact.

Coach said the real power of a catcher came from his glutes, and that all the top college players were using a squat plug to build strength. He sent me to the trainer to get fitted and help with the insertion before each game, which was already humiliating since the trainer was younger than me. It was painful as the plug stretched out my asshole, causing the trainer to insist it fit right. Still, I couldn’t argue with the results—my glutes got noticeably stronger. But the price was steep: the black base of the plug was clearly visible through my tightly stretched white pants, and the fans definitely noticed. Every game, I could hear them incorrectly calling out "nice butt-plug", laughing, making sure I knew exactly what they could see.
