The red head sighed “Hunters don’t usually take offspring, at least....Not usually” she mumbled, since she knew of creatures that had been raised to fight their own, she’d been one of them..

“I can’t find my son.” Mike snapped and flashed in front of Natasha. “I lost my brother now my son and I am very very pissed off.” She said quietly.

The vampire shifted in her sleep lightly and made a small noise when Natasha spoke. Stirring but only fell back asleep completely exhausted.

It was almost night fall again, and sunlight was barley peeking through the blackout shades of Emily’s office. Emily was still at her desk but had fallen asleep in a mess of papers. She too hadn’t slept all the much in a few days.

Emily simply smiled softly when Natasha fell asleep, she sighed and picked her progeny up and walked her to the couches against one of the walls and laid her down. Taking a throw blanket and setting it over the red head so she could sleep and went back to her desk to work.

“I can sense you are tired. Don’t fight it. If you need to sleep.. sleep.” She said quietly, switching so she held Natasha with one are and picked up one of her documents with her free hand so she could continue working. “You won’t bother me..”

“Hush now.” Emily whispered wrapping both her arms around Natasha and held her close, running her fingers through her red hair. “Just rest..” she continued leaning back in her chair and sighed softly.

Emily set down her pen and looked up at Natasha and sighed. “Come here..” She whispered softly in Russian and pulled the redhead onto her lap and looked up at her softly. She reached up, and gently cupped Natasha’s cheek. She paused for a moment, she knew ignoring a progeny effected them, especially new borns, and she could see how much the distance between them bothered her so much. “I’m sorry..” she admitted.

Emily didn’t look up from her papers but outstretched her hand to Natasha and motioned her with two fingers. “Come here..” She said in Russian and held out her wrist for her progeny to bite into. “And don’t refuse, I don’t want to force feed you.” She said quietly.

Nat stood up and came over to Emily without hesitation, taking her wrist, but not biting into it. The red head instead focused on caressing the womans soft, icy skin. The progeny needing to take in the moment of simple contact with a maker that had ignored her for so long. “Just give me a moment, promise” she reassured, not wanting to be force fed like she had been at the start of her new life.

Emily rubbed her temples and sighed at Natasha. “Fine fine, sit..” she said pointing to a chair next to her desk. “But not another word. I’m expecting Dawn any minute. I need her signature on some of these documents.” She said clearly irritated from all the work piled on her desk. She was silent and then glanced to Natasha. “Have you fed?”

The red head sat down on the chair, motioning that she was closing a zip on her mouth and throwing it away. The red head swung her legs a little and then looked to her Maker when she spoke again, before going to speak and quickly stopping herself, instead only shaking her head at her question.

Emily leaned back in her chair. “I made you my progeny.. you understand that your actions.. fall on me, I have to take responsibility for you. Doesn’t matter if you attacked them by your hand or not.” She hissed. She slammed her fist on the table nearly breaking it. “A mistake that could of killed the entire royal family, the last elder. There would be an outbreak, of war. And hunters from everywhere would start attacking vampires until there is none of us left.” She hissed. “That is how serious this situation is… that is why I’m still upset..” The queen rubbed her temples. “I am keeping you alive that’s more than what she asked for…” she muttered then looked up at Natasha. “That’s it. That’s all I have to say. I haven’t forgiven your actions yet but that doesn’t mean I still don’t want you as my progeny.”

The red head flinched when the fist slammed on the desk, the woman then sighing softly making a gentle noise “She isn’t the last elder” she then said simply “One of her friends came to her aid, they’ve been together alot, they do the whole nesting thing together, she has black fur like you do in your bat form” she rambled nervously, just needing to stay in the others presence somehow. “Emily, it’s really killing me, I’m really struggling, I keep feeling like I want to scream when I’m not around you...Even if you just let me sit on the floor in silence it’d help. Come on, please.”

“I can ignore you for however long I wish. You’re lucky I didn’t dismiss you forever.” Emily snapped sitting at her desk and reading through papers her and Dawn had to go over. The vampire queen waved her hand, dismissing the guards in her room. Once then left, Emily stared hard at Natasha and slowly stood up. “You attacked my family, lied to me.. betrayed me, broke my heart.” She said walking swiftly to Natasha and gripped her chin and hauled her up into the air with ease. “If I didn’t care and love you so much you would of died before you had a chance to run away.” She said with a break in her voice. “I made a promise.. to your sister.. that I would look after you and take care of you..” she said weaker setting the red head down. “But it’s hard to when you’ve betrayed my trust.” She was silent for a moment, and then turned swiftly to go sit back at her desk. “If you have nothing left to say then begone with you… I’m very busy..” she said weakly, pretending to work when In fact.. she wasn’t at all.

“No you can’t, I won’t let you! It’s driving me absolutely insane, being able to feel you and not even say anything to you. If Acelline can forgive me then you can too, do you punish your kids who make a mistake? Because all I did was make a mistake by saying the wrong thing!” she snapped at her, then sighing when she was hauled up by the other, no matter how much the cells in her body craved the attention from her maker. “Well, you’re not looking after me right now are you? Because I’m miserable and feel like I’m falling apart” she said as she was set down. “So that’s it?”
