I’ve been laughing at this on and off for two straight days

little known fact, once you are older & no longer in school, time stops being real. did that thing happen one year ago? two? five? a few months ago? who knows.

I’m so tired of seeing those “if they want to be in your life they will show up, if they want to be in your life they will text you back” type of posts like that’s not always true!!!! and I think those posts give off this idea that if someone isn’t doing exactly what you want 24/7 then it doesn’t work but that’s not how people are!!! sometimes we don’t want to respond to someone know matter how much we love them!!! sometimes we need space, we need time to ourselves, and we need to not feel pressure to be at someone’s beck and call whenever. let people have their space is what I’m saying and don’t automatically assume the lack of a text back is somehow indicative of how they feel about you!!!!
