Something neuroscience-y that helps with prose: attention is selective. A character will not notice everything in a room. They will notice what matters to their goal, fear, desire, training, wound, or obsession. A jealous character notices hands. a hungry character notices food. A soldier notices exits. Had an absolute blast with this! I wanted to go crazy and wild with the comic medium and stretch it as far as I could, and make it as playful as the series itself. I was inspired by the old original manga as well as various (both old and new) Franco-Belgian comics, down to the very last wink, hehe!
