"The game is afoot!" Was my favorite thing to annoy my classmates whenever something sus as they say was sneaking behind the mystery of it all. I feel bad for our veterans and true americans. You are in a brave new world where absolutely nothing is off the table for the highest bidder- even your precious freedoms. How will the new world be arranged? Lets find out.

I knew from the get go, that the arms race that started post WW2 was a precursor to the collapse of our democratic institutions. You have a society like China and many eastern countries that prey on the weaker races or institutions in the pacific, and you have a country like the US that also has a history of covertly and overtly diminishing the rights of minorities and subclass socieities; well you get a perfect cocktail for a new world order.

One where corporations protect a ruling elite, a ruling elite requests the aid of their mercs, and the mercs maintain the already oppressive institutions in place. Together they form the new technofeudalism we will all face eventually together. How wonderful.

For now it is the obvious and lowest hanging fruit. The third world and the revolving door of corruption the west has created to keep humble and meak societies at the mercy of its overlords. Think the fruit company wars times 1000.

Where does this leave those who care about liberal democracy, gun enthusiasts, antifa, and yes even our lost cousins in the south. It should bring us together. But it depends. Depends on what chad and becky? Your ability to care about the right things or the wrong things.

For now we wait and hope. That our vote matters. That the insolence and pride of what seems now many, will not further confuse us from who the enemy both here and abroad. That the haves more often will be able to do more damage, than the have nots. And our ability to reconcile this truth depends on our ability to have courage and overcome the illusion of power and dominance.
