Hi, I want to introduce myself. My name is Lesly Anel Tirado. I'm 25 years old about to be 26 on July 28th. I'm working towards my master's degree in Social Work at Loyola University Chicago. My master's program is a little different from all the other MSW. You might ask why? My master's program is Bilingual Spanish and English and addresses the unmet integrated mental health needs of Latinx, immigrant, and refugee populations. I choose this master's program since I grew up in a border town, the Imperial Valley, and Mexicali. Here in the Valley, more than 85% of the population are Latinxs.
