20 year old male with fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva (FOP) ie, stone man syndrome.
FOP is an extremely rare disease caused by an autosomal dominant mutation on chromosome 2q23-24. this mutation results in an impaired ability to heal injured muscles, ligaments, &/or tendons. these structures may ossify spontaneously or after injury.

Great case of perforated acute appendicitis with peri-appendiceal abscess formation & free fluid on ultrasound. Unfortunately, this case was my 4 year old son ☹️
what it looks like when you swallow a dental implant 😳😂
16 year old female with enlarging left breast for one year. impressive case of juvenile fibroadenoma vs. phyllodes tumor.
you know someone/something is looking out for you when a bullet enters your back, traverses the left pedicle of your T11 vertebral body, & stops literally a millimeter from your aorta without injuring it (& therefore not killing you) 😳
another impressive case of gynecomastia in a 63 year old man being treated for prostate cancer.

Lymphangioleiomyomatosis (LAM) is a rare multi-system disorder that can occur either sporadically or in association with the tuberous sclerosis complex. Occurs in women of reproductive age. In the chest, there are two phases. The early phase is characterised by proliferation of immature muscle cells that cover alveolar walls, bronchioles, pleura and vessels, including lymphatic routes. In the late phase, there is a development of cystic spaces and wider proliferation of muscle cells throughout the lung.
