And the final share for the poems, a piece titled "Joel", dedicated to a friend who committed suicide right after I graduated high school. This chapter in the book was one of the ones where I had to stop multiple times while writing. R.I.P. Joel.

Just finished “Peace Is Every Step” by Thich Nhat Hanh and about to start the “Bhagavad Gita”. To me there’s just something about learning about other cultures that brings me a sense of serenity.
