I’m slowly learning that even if I react, it won’t change anything, it won’t make people suddenly love and respect me, it won’t magically change their minds. Imperfect. I have so many imperfections but they don’t define me. We are not one dimensional beings; hence, we can’t ever be defined in the simplest terms and in the most convenient definitions. So I say, we should never think that our imperfections define us for there are people who still see the beauty in us despite the fact that we are imperfect. Beauty exists in everything. It can even exist in the oddest and seemingly least flawless things. You may hate yourself for being unworthy, ugly, vulnerable, awkward, depressed, mediocre and a failure, but remember that being flawed is not always a bad thing since there are people who love the things you hate about yourself.
