My prop project, mixing Neon pothos with Jade pothos in one pot. I had a great result last December, but rats munched on the vines and this is the aftermath. I am at home in the chasm of my soul a bottomless wasteland of melancholic blues. That right there used to be the heart of every holiday for our family. Its been a tradition to drive hours and hours just to get here, to my dad's family house. Its where everyone gathered to spend the holidays. The house would be filled with lights, warmth, and laughter. But as the kids grew and our parents older, slowly the light and warmth faded away... Reduced to this run-down house. But once in a while, some would gather and continue to keep the place warm, alive. So, as long as there's family, no one is left out. Day 1 of the year 2021 Back when I was really really young this place used to be the heart of the holidays. We would always travel hours just to get here and spend Christmas and the New Year here with our relatives (dad's side). And my usual spot would be under that table munching on anything I can get ahold of. Oh how I miss being a kid. It was simpler back then. And today we did exactly just that but with less people and the house looks run-down. But hey maybe soon, hopefully, after this whole pandemic thing dies down...
