I am a cat. I am on Tumblr. does that make me a cat of Tumblr ?

I find it hard to put myself in other people's shoes, I always end up projecting instead to be honest. But still, I try to understand. I ask them "is it because of this that makes you feel like that that causes this ?" just to be sure and get more details to be able to understand the situation better. I'm not the best when it comes to helping people, but as long as I try and as long as they're safe and feel seen and appreciated then it's gonna be okay.

harsh truth most of the time doesn't do anything. You're all stupid

even if you can't understand someone or put yourself in their shoes, I believe you can still sympathise with them and try to understand at least their SITUATION. People react differently to things. Just because you think it's logical to do one thing doesn't mean the other can do it. Many things play into why someone acts the way they do. Don't be mean to victims just because you don't understand them. "We care", but apparently not enough to try and sympathise with someone you call your friend. Disgusting.

I'll never understand how people can feel bad for people that are actively hurting them with the intention of hurting them. It just seems completely illogical to me I can't put myself in their shoes
