I then developed the motion piece by changing the ending and adding the markmaking wheel. I think this ties in all the elements together very well. I’m happy with how this turned out and I’m glad I used procreates animation feature, as this allowed it have a hand drawn effect especially when the logo morphs into a bus.

I then developed the first bit of motion I did with the logo and decided to extend it. I was happy with the way in which this turned out considering this was my second time using procreates animation software.

After speaking with my tutor, we both agreed that the motion piece did not really contain any link to the mark making elements within the designs.

I wanted to keep the business cards really simple and I wanted to reflect the nature of the festival. For the front business card I added the logo with the gradient background. I feel as though this works really nicely and would stand out from other business cards. On the other side of the card, I included the name and position and ways in which to contact them. I used the shape of the logo on the side to create some contrast and included some subtle markmaking, so that there was a greater sense of creativity.

When thinking about the layout of the id cards, I thought that it might be a cool idea if were to create them in a way that made them look like miniature posters for the festival. By this I mean that, having the id cards having a somewhat same layout and design as the poster would not only create a cohesive design, but might make the id cards have more character and look more visually appealing.

Initially, I was thinking about keeping it more simple and just having ‘staff’ and then the name, but after I was thinking about how the ‘miniature posters look’ may look like, I thought that this would look the best.

I then thought it be interesting to see how the logo would look like on photography that I've taken myself. For these examples have decided to choose different imagery to showcase the scope. The idea of the logo interacting/reacting with the image for example having parts of the logo overlapped by a flower or a head of a statue creates depth and it doesn't just look like it has been placed there without any thought.

After looking at all of the things I've created so far such as the social media background assets and the mark making I felt that I needed to incorporate this within the way finding map. This is because for me it was crucial to create a cohesive design. Therefore I include some mark marking within the way finding map to create that sense of cohesion and I also added a texture in the solid grey.
