My Forever Won't Change

“You can call me Carlin, not as fancy as the shadow part though.”

"Sometimes change is good. Sometimes you just have to learn to cope with it.” Zero placed a hand adorned in black nail polish on his chest. “Take it from someone who knows. I like that, but others call me Zero. You can choose what- ever you like. Carlin is a nice name, though. So. Carlin. Do you have a place to stay or is it not that bad?”

"If it has been dropped I obviously don’t need it anymore. Whatever it is, you can have it. I—It’s okay."

"Wow, okay, then don’t litter. Are you all right, love? You seem a bit – – – on edge.”

(♕) — “Seriously, I’ll be fine it’s not even that far…” 

“You can’t even walk two feet like this. Swallow your pride and let me carry you.”

The distraught woman put her hands on the back of her head and took in another breath to calm herself, “They won’t let me back,” she stated simply, “I made a choice and that choice won’t let me back there.” It was hard to explain, Carlin’s hands dropped and she looked at the other individual, “Who’re you?”

Those words rang with familiarity Zero could not say was appreciated. A sigh fell off his lips, and he was ready to shake his head. “Oh, sweetheart.“ Her question struck him and he put on a grin. “I’m just a shadow around these parts. But come now, there is always a way to solve things. Even if it means change.“

With his history of always having to take care of himself, Zero always butt into other people’s business. He didn’t care if he just met the person and was very open that way. “And why not, exactly?”

"Don’t fucking touch me! Don’t come near me. Don’t you dare come near me!"

"Jeesus fucking Christ, all right. I was going to tell you that you dropped something but never mind, forget it.”

            “I messed up, I messed up so bad that it’s almost funny,” Carlin took a shaky laugh at her own words. “Fuck.”

“Okay, okay, listen.” Zero placed his hands on Carlin’s shoulders to look her in the eye. “I don’t think it’s something we can’t solve. What happened?”

“Mhmm, I’ll believe that when I see it.”

                          “Shit, oh.. shit.”

"Calm down, love, what’s the matter?”

Marcus watched the little show he gave him well he was taking off his trousers when he tossed the  garments he caught them quickly placing them aside.. “I’m liking what I see..”

"Mmhm," he hummed. "Do you just want to look, or are you going to be a bad boy and touch the velvet rope?" Teasingly, he turned around in a leisure pace pretending to walk away.
