"Wouldn’t dream of it Selphie!" Hitomi grinned with toilet paper in hand as she ran down the path to a small house; their target. "Tell me again why this guy, Seifer is so bad? I mean I’m all for a prank but….”

She made a show of dramatically rolling her eyes, head shaking as she hurried along. “I’ve lost count of how many times he’s shot some snide remark at me for absolutely no reason other than to get under my skin. And everyone else’s, too! He doesn’t get enough revenge thrown back at him, so this is a good start!”

Hitomi nodded, she understood there were always people like that; she just approached them differently. Her Father raised her to always put her best foot forward and not make enemies. However she would stick up for her friends and her beliefs against anybody. "It's sounds like you've been around him too long! Maybe with all this he'll get the message that he's a jerk!"

"You do? Bit it is quite plain…"

"I am Yeul, you have an interesting name, where do you come from?"

Yeul, it had a such a beautiful ring to it. A slight smile grew upon her face as she replied, "I'm from Germany. I'm afraid it isn't around here though. My name is Japanese, which is from my Mother's side."

(Family…) 【The question left a sour taste at the back of his tongue, but was swiftly forgotten from the small tangent the girl had thrown herself into. The scarred youth was tempted to remind her to breathe. Thumbs tucked themselves out of sight behind the belts he wore.】 (Do I bother answering that first question? It’s not really any of her business.) 【He settled with a simple】 “…I see. Guess I could say the same.”

       “I’ve seen you in the Dead or Alive tournaments. I must say, I’m really impressed by how skillful you are.”

"Thank you very much! All it takes is some hard work...well a lot actually." Hitomi gave him a quick look over before adding, "Hey! You look like you're a fighter too!" 

          “I wouldn’t know if it’s true. But I like to believe it is.” Her head shook. "No, I don’t have a curse on me. It was just something I kept reading about."

"What book were you reading? A fairy tale?" Hitomi smiled at her curious about what the other young woman liked to read.

(If I got a gil for every time I’ve heard something like that…) 【A sigh left him and his bitter train of thought derailed in favor of answering her question.】 “Not really.”

"Well did you spend the day with family? That's normally what I do but this year I let my Mother and Father have the day to themselves and spend a day in the city. I went shopping and got some new clothes. I didn't eat dinner yet, and I have no clue what I'm going to do, Easter Dinner is supposed to be a big deal but it's just me so...." Hitomi dropped off and took a deep breath in. Wow, I should slow down...Who knew shopping made me so hyper! She began to blush and stepped away from him slightly in embarrassment. Now I've done it, I be he hardy understood a thing i said! She sighed before taking a slight bow and centering herself. She then said, "I had a nice but low key day."

                  “True love’s kiss breaks any curse?”

"That's what I've heard but I wouldn't know if it was true" Hitomi smiled at her before adding, "Do you need a knight in shining armor to break one on you?"
