I would like to introduce you to my rescue pupper Kara ♥️ we adopted Kara from @charlestonanimalsociety 4 years ago when she was only 2 weeks old. She was found on the street alone, had worms and fleas. It has been an unbelievable transformation in her behavior in these past few years. I am so in love with animal shelters and the people who work and volunteer there. The work that you do is hard but so rewarding. Happy #nationaladoptapetday 💕 . . I know a lot of people might not even know this but the building that stood here was a landmark. For 11 years this spot was Charleston Cooks, a shop dedicated to teaching cooking skills and selling kitchenware. Dick Elliot opened and owned many restaurants here in Charleston and Charleston Cooks was the last one he decided to let go. It is so sad to see the building that housed such a great concept destroyed. I hope Pavillion Development Co.can build something here that will be worthy. (at East Bay Street)
