Take time to do what you love 💕 Repost @crownscoloringbooks So, I figured it's time to put a face to the coloring book so to speak 😁🌈 My name is Karissa and I created CROWNS: a coloring book celebrating women across cultures as a fun project. I'd heard that adult coloring was gaining popularity as a form of creative meditation. I'm all for #relaxation and self-care, so I thought it would be a great project to bring to life. CROWNS has become really special to me. My deepest passion is to empower and inspire women to see their #purpose, potential, and beauty - I'm especially passionate about empowering women of color. Once people started responding that they'd never seen a coloring book with illustrations that represented them, I knew CROWNS was more than just a fun little project. CROWNS literally lines up with my personal mission to empower and inspire all of us women. I included illustrations of women from a variety of cultures and age groups; honestly many of the drawings are pretty ethnically ambiguous so that they really could be any of us. I believe representation matters and I'm so excited to share this coloring book that represents so many of the beautiful women in this world.
