Keep A Place For Me

I’d like to think you’ll remember me as somebody who loved you the best they could, even if it wasn’t always what you wanted or needed.

I’d like to think you’ll remember me as somebody you could have spent your life with, if only the timing had been right.

It’s looking like I’ll never see or hear from you again, and so I’m writing this final letter to you. I’ll leave it here, in the one place I know you’ll look if I ever happen to cross your mind.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your life, thank you for being the best thing that ever happened to mine. I’ll never forget you or the time we shared together, I’ll cherish the memories that we made forever.

I wish you nothing but endless happiness, and for you to achieve all of the success that you deserve. I know you will.

But if you should ever find yourself falling upon hard times, please don’t give up Abbie.

Because all we really need to survive is one person who truly loves us.

And you have him. I will wait for you, always.
