I'm not a tragedy, I am a CALAMITY.

“All this stress is bad for my skin,” she muttered under her breath. Damn her father for just up and leaving this burden on her. She was nowhere near ready for this. He should have ruled–it would have given her more time to observe, so she could do better. “It’s not that I hold a grudge….You terrified me that day.” Perhaps that was the first time she’d been so honest about it.

There was really no use arguing about it though, since they’d just keep going in circles. “That incident is the reason I’m wary of you. I never know what’s going to happen when you’re around.” She let out another heavy breath, bringing a hand up to rub her face, as if it would soothe away all the tension she currently felt. “…It isn’t, I suppose. You do at least do your job well…sometimes.” Cut her some slack, she’s trying to be a good and responsible leader.

Terrified? Ah that’s right, while it started out as her teasing the sun kami it ended up becoming a storm in a sense. Being the kami of the Sea & Storms if she got too angry, too carried away it would cause a disaster in her wake even if what she was doing was harmless intentionally. “This might sound cruel little sun, but you’ll have to eventually put that fear behind you when dealing with me. I am the one who embodies both the un-tamable ocean, and the raging storms. At least a bit. Because those facts are unchangeable.” 

It was rare that she spoke calmly with no playfulness in her tone. Though she had a point, specially since this girl who embodies the sun was the one who ruled over all the kami of japan currently. It did her no good to be fearful of one of them, specially one who’s power is similar in strength to hers due to being born around the same moment in time. 

“Teasing…is that what it was…One of my attendants dying counts as teasing now?” She could hardly call that easy to forgive. What a troublesome loose cannon she had to deal with. 

“…I never said that. I merely find it suspicious when you do. Trouble seems to follow you no matter what, especially when you come here.” She heaved a sigh, though her body tensed at the mention of their mother, her fists clenching at her sides. “No. That is one good thing about you, at least. You’re not her.”

“Haaahh, haven’t I already apologized for that? I did also say I might’ve gotten a bit out of hand with that prank. It’s already been aaages too. Holding grudges is bad for your skin yknow?” She scratched her head as she let out a sigh.  Really for someone that was the sun, this girl was more like a grey overcast sky.

“Forgive me for thinking you haven’t changed when you’ve yet to give me any proof to the contrary,” she remarked, furrowing her brows. “Need I remind you how much chaos you caused?”

“Geh! W-why would I possibly miss you when all you do is cause me trouble?” she sputtered, attempting to swat the other’s hand away from her face. “In fact, how do I know you’re not here to cover up for something you’ve done?”

“fufufufu trouble? Chaos? I was just simply teasing my adorable little sun and it got outta hand is all~~ Plus you finally came outta that cave so it’s allllready in the past riiight little sun?” Amaterasu’s reaction was really funny, the normally serious kami being all flustered and annoyed. Really being serious all the time had to be bad for the mind so it was obvious that teasing was necessary, the type that only a sibling could do without it being out right bullying.

“You know very well why,” Amaterasu responded, doing her best to keep her expression stern. “And why, after all the trouble you’ve caused?” Did she forget she was the reason the sun had hidden away for so long?

“I’m hardly lonely. I have my attendants and the rest of the kami to interact with.” …did she really seem lonely? It was a little lonely, but, she wasn’t going to give her the satisfaction of knowing she was right.

“Oooh? Is the little sun still holdin’ a grudge against her sister? Even though its been sooooo long”

Sweat beaded on the back of her neck as she wound her hands together. Her stomach was already in knots at the mere presence of the other. Still, she stood with her back straight, trying to at least keep up her appearance as a proper goddess.

“…What do you want?” Ah. Her voice had cracked. Dammit.

“Awwww what’s with that face?  Shouldn’t you look a good bit happier to see lovely ol’ me? Cute little sun?” Susanoo snickered a bit, it was tough to decide if it was disappointing the sun goddess still was uneasy around her, or just plain amusing. 

“Telling me I’m not welcome isn’t a good idea, Gorgon. Greece is my land, unfortunately, it is also Zeus’ and the other Olympians’ too.” Getting angry with her wasn’t going to accomplish anything, so although his tone became hostile for a moment, he takes a breath and pulls back on the animosity. 

Burden Medusa? He can’t help but laugh at that. “No, I’m not here for that - and I’m definitely not here to see you either. I’m just stopping by to see how the island itself is faring. It’s gone a bit downhill, wouldn’t you think? There’s moss beginning to form.” Moss wasn’t entirely a bad thing, but this was meant to be an isle of beauty.

"Haah is that supposed to be a passive aggressive threat? Even with our hate for the gods and humans, it's not like us purely not wanting any of you or them to come here to our isle puts a stop to it. It's not our choice this isle is the only place we can reside on." Venom laced her words as she half snapped her response. Though it was only half true at the end, her and stheno had a choice though it wasn't one either could make. After all abandoning Medusa wasn't a realistic option for them, all the comfort of their small temples couldn't replace that girl after all.

Her eyebrow twitched at both the laugh and the comment of the isle going downhill condition wise. If the three sisters maintained the island it'd not look abandoned, and when it looked like there was someone living here some human champion playing 'hero' for the gods would come and try to kill medusa 9 out of 10 times and just create more carnage. As well as add to  the pile of bones on the isle too. "You're more and more annoying & irritating every time we unfortunately cross paths. The island's condition is after all the fault of those pretend heroes you and your family keeps sending here for my sister's head"

“The stars are beautiful tonight, but it’s rather cold. What are you doing out here?”

“Mm, It is cold out here though it’s a bit.. calming. It’s still a bit difficult to get used to all the warmth and liveliness of Chaldea for someone like me.” The goddess spoke softly. 

“That’s right,” she answered, smiling softly. “Though I don’t feel quite like I deserve the title they gave me.” She was just a humble girl from the countryside. She’d only done what she thought was right. There were others more deserving of being called a Saint. 

“Is something wrong with that..?”

The nervous look on the girl’s face grew a bit. “N-not really. It’s just... you seem a lot nicer than the nuns or priests who were at the church from Abi’s home...”

“Lying doesn’t suit you, Abby.” He replied, gently patting her head, “You can just ask me, I have a stash of snacks in my room.”

“Still as harsh as ever, Euryale? After so long, your comments are easy to look over.” He couldn’t really blame the Gorgon’s behavior, he knew full well why she chose to insult him by asking for his existence to cease. Though realistically, it’s been a misunderstanding all of these centuries - but, he chose not to fess up to that bit. It was wiser not to unveil the truth about Medusa, after all.

“To answer your question, no, I can’t stop existing. I’m needed. Until the day I’m no longer needed, I will continue on.”

Her annoyance grew upon even hearing the god of the sea. honestly to her, the gods of Olympus were no better than the titans they put in tartarus. something she'd have said aloud if she let her anger get the better of her, but even she knew when to bite her tongue on her thoughts. Only so much a level of rudeness could be excused after all.

"It wasn't a question so much as a complaint at seeing someone such as you here of all places. A place you and others in your family are certainty most not welcome"

“Oh~! Hello there little one~” Medb turned and smiled down at the Goddess, it seems that she did hear the taunts because her eye most certainly did twitch! Still she would not let the Archer get to her. “I most definitely have my brain and I am trying to relax for a little bit, after all dealing with a Loli like you could be entertaining could it not~?”

Euryale's eyebrow twitched slightly at the comment concerning her own appearance. her smile seeming only slightly forced. "We're sorry to inform you, but that gaudy crown on your head doesn't count as a brain. Though are you sure you aren't the childish one here, you do seem to go after anything shiny like a human brat would. You also try to get people to spoil you like a brat who only knows how to whine for attention"

It was another Greek servant and Nicolas grew excited. The cat ears twitched lightly. 

“Oh no. I’m not here for a mission. I’m not strong enough to go on those.” he spoke. “I’m just wanting to meet all the Servants because it’s only polite.” he bowed. “I’m Nicolas Lowell; a mage and now a master for Chaldea. It’s a pleasure to meet you.” he smiled brightly. 

Her glare turned into a look of annoyance upon hearing the mage's response. Crossing her arms across her chest, she raised an eyebrow. 'polite'? haah either this mage had a few screws loose or his ego was just that high. of course she thought this cause it seemed a waste of time to go around and greet every servant that had been summoned to Chaldea of your own accord under the premise of being polite.
