Decided just to post these as it’s taking me forever to finished the others and it’s getting to the point that idk if I will. 💔 (watch me actually finish them after I post this now omg.)

Anyways some of my Glamrock redesigns!! You can tell I did Roxy first because she’s not as shaded as Monty or Chica. If I do finish all of them I’ll go back and add more shading to Roxanne! Anyways I think my fave is Chica. She just had such a glow up compared to my previous design for her! Also her afro is so so SO cute.

I may change Monty’s gloves to orange or black at some point since Roxy already has purple gloves. We’ll see! Anyways I’m happy with all their looks! Roxy looks like a cute racing girl and Monty lowkey kinda looks tropical lmao? It’s definitely the colors but I love them!

There’s something about how freaky they look that makes me kick my feet and giggle. They are very cute to me.

I imagine Sun has a panel that opens and slides away behind their faceplate to reveal the darker half of Moon’s face. I could chalk it up to ‘game logic’ or ‘magic’ but figuring out how they work is half the fun for me.

I believe I mentioned in an ask a while back that I had finished my Glamrock Freddy and Glamrock Bonnie redesigns! I’ve finally found the time (or more so motivation) to post them!

Below is me going into my redesign and why I chose the things I did. At the very end will be links to dividers if you are interested!

So when I said I’d MAYBE POSSIBLY PERHAPSSS get to Sun at some point I meant he was my next project— anyways as before I’ll be yapping about changes!

Ok so funnily enough Sun was actually trickier than Moon to figure out! (And I say that’s funny because it used to be the opposite for me!)

My previous Sun design was alright, though I had more issues with it than Moon. The main thing that bothered me a lot was with his pants. He’s supposed to have clouds on one side but I just couldn’t figure out how to make blue pants work at the time? Like nothing felt good enough to me and I made the ever confusing decision to make it all cream??? With a blue sun????

I think what kept throwing me off was how the tighter parts on the sleeves/pants never matched the blue sides! But I never thought to change the red on those sides to blue since my brain always marked blue as ‘Moon’s color’! (Which is silly since any blue in Moon’s design is a midnight tone and Sun is still mostly yellow/red!) I was worried it would step on Moon’s curled toes— but reconceptualizing it honestly helped with taking that ‘risk’! And what conclusion did I come to upon reordering my thoughts?

Other changes included general color shifts to either be less desaturated, improved correlation between Sun and Moon’s palette/placement shifts, and keeping the amount of colors limited! Mainly I made Sun’s casing yellower since before it was very cream toned! I also made sure any exposed endo parts were grey instead of the weird desaturated brown I used before since their endo doesn’t change colors! For the palette size I tried reusing stuff a lot so I didn’t have like 8 different reds for 3 distinct fabric types or whatever lol! (Basically did a lot of linking certain colors to certain fabrics—like all the red quilted pieces are the same red!)

Other minor changes I made are to his eyes and presentation! I made his eyes ringed like Moon’s since they do technically have the same base eye—it’s just colored differently! Also something subtle with Sun is that he pulls the knee ruffles of his pants up a bit more than Moon does for a shorter look! Good for running around and being active!

Also unintentional reference with the buttons on his chest. My headcanon has those buttons being right over Sun and Moon’s individual voice boxes, meaning they have two and they can technically both speak at the same time! (This is how they do puppet shows together!) Well it’s funny that the blue button corresponds to the placement of Moon’s voice box, and the red Sun’s!

I think this is a good place to stop when it comes to rambles! I don’t want to fill up this post too much! Though while I was drawing I accidentally made Sun shorter than Moon! I’m not sure if that’s canon in my AU just because I wouldn’t know a good reason off the top of my head for Moon to grow a few inches? Like maybe intimidation because he’s a security bot but honestly..? My DCA’s height is to the point that a few inches doesn’t change a lot.

Like 12’3”-ish vs 12’8” is not noticeable enough to really make a difference. They are both still over 12ft and that’s going to be a be nerve wracking either way!
