fleeting.

     “what’s this all about, wonwoo?” his voice is low, almost a little dangerous, and it’s clear that he doesn’t appreciate this kind of behavior from the younger male without an explanation. idly, he wonders if the newborn is still angry at him for turning him wtihout permission, which jinyoung can… kind of understand. but not really, consdering how much care he’d taken to make sure that wonwoo didn’t hurt anyone. literally nothing has changed for the other save the fact that he’s immortal. and incapable of being in the sun, he supposes, but that will slowly come with time. 

     “i don’t think ...” he swallows, licking his lips and steeling himself for a second before he blurts it out. “i don’t think we can do that anymore.” that, of course, referring to their arrangement from before he had been turned into a vampire. 

      it’s been a quiet period since he’d turned wonwoo, which disappoints him, despite how much he’d expected it. newborn vampires are far too distracted by blood, humans, everything in general, and it frustrates him, if only for the fact that he rather wants his fill of wonwoo in particular. there are plenty of other people he’s slept with in the past two months, but… he had turned wonwoo for a reason. 

     pushing open the door to the newborn’s room, he slinks up behind where wonwoo is sitting at the desk he’d furnished the room with, a heavy textbook open in his hands. he thinks he should probably feel bad about bothering the other while he’s studying, but it’s not like wonwoo can continue to attend the same classes anyways, so he doesn’t. 

      sidling up behind the new vampire, he wraps his arms around the other, nipping gently at his ear. “wonwoo-ah.” 

     he hears the older male’s steps before he feels him appear in the room, having half hoped that jinyoung would pass by the room he was borrowing for the time being and just head to his own quarters. it had been ... odd around the other recently and wonwoo isn’t too sure what that strange feeling surrounding their relationship was. 

     it had changed, somehow. he’s not entirely sure how it had changed, but it had. 

     he wasn’t sure if he wanted to be the one who found out why either. trying to continue and focus on his book -- it was the textbook for the class that he had just dropped out of, and he was mourning the couple of thousands of dollars he had wasted on classes that year -- he tenses slightly when jinyoung slithers into his room and wraps his arms around him.
