“Nope,” he chuckled, popping the ‘p’. “Well, that’s true, perhaps that can even out my incredible lack of skill.”

“Well have no fear, my little scout-fraud, I have enough talent for the both of us. And I carry around emergency cookie mix for situations just like this!”

“Yes !! But like, I’m not that into quidditch but I still want the ‘Puffs to win, of course. Oh, sure. Yeah. Is he a good cook? What did he make?”

“Both my brothers and my best friend play, so I’ve been forced into loving it,” she smirked. “I’m still mostly just here for the food, though, don’t tell them. I think he is. My Nanna taught both of us, so he should be if I am. And I am. I’m not sure, let’s go see.”

“Annoying little brother… Who are you calling annoying?” He pouts, “It can’t possibly be me, I think you’re mistaking me for Gid.” He kissed her head “Thanks sis.’

“Oh, you’re right, silly me. I get you two mixed up all the time,” she laughed, shaking her head. 

“Aw bloody hell, you’re right. All the more reason to celebrate hard!”

“Exactly! Enjoy the mutual happiness while we still can. I think my brother made some food, want to brave it with me?”

“Yay!” Molly agreed, twirling around the room happily. “We should enjoy this, because the next victory party, one of us will be sad.”

“You’ll always be my annoying baby brother, okay?” she grinned, kissing his cheek. “I know, I know, you’re not a bad cook. Not as good as me, but you’re not bad,” she smiled.

“I was actually talking about both, Mols, if you would believe it.” Fabian grinned and wrapped an arm around his sister, “Because I did make it, and we did a pretty good job in the game, Carson being our saviour!”

“Well here’s hoping I’ve taught you well and you’re not about to poison the school,” she smirked, before giving her brother a massive hug. “You were incredible, Fab. Carson was the MVP, but you were by far the best one.”

“You were supposed to ask if I was a scout, you know,” he teased, “Dunno, is it goin’ to work? It looks like it’s about to rain, then again, it always looks like it’s about to rain.”

“Were you a scout, Ben?” she smirked. “Is it going to work? Do you know who you’re talking to? I could cook underwater, Fenwick.

Amos loved Molly for many reasons. One of these was that she truly cared about the people she knew, which was exemplified just through her reaction to Amos’ news. “Oh, you don’t have to go through all that trouble. Sybill does like strawberry, though.”

“You know it isn’t trouble for me, love, it’s what I do. A strawberry heart-shaped cake, isn’t that just perfect? Maybe I’ll save it for Valentine’s Day, do you have plans yet?”

“You mean you worked your ass off in the game, or are you trying to say you cooked this food?”

“You’ve never been in here? What year are you in? That’s so strange. It’s right this way, though, I’ve made a variety of punches and cocktails and there’s butterbeer and firewhiskey, and something... I’m not sure what that is, but you can feel free to try it.”

“Have some confidence in me, Prewett! I could have been a scout for all you know.”

“Oh, I have all the confidence in the world in you, Benny, it’s just myself. I don’t trust myself around fire unless I’m cooking with it. ...Ooh, we could cook something!”

He blushed slightly, giddy with excitement to tell her the news. “Then I suppose you can guess what happened recently.”

“Really and truly? Oh, Amos, I’m so happy for you! I’m going to make a cake; do you like cheesecake or would you prefer chocolate? Oh, I’m going to make it in a big heart shape with little sparkling candies....”

“Are you making this into a competition?”
