Koji had thought about sending one of the men he was in charge of to go and scare the man, but without knowing how he’d react there was the fear that he’d tell Niven about it which would end up dragging the younger into a world Koji desperately wanted to keep him out of. They had a sound plan in mind to get this ex to leave Niven alone, yet his lover selflessly pulled the plug on it to keep their relationship a secret from Koji’s family – but now was suffering because of it.
❝ Maybe we should think about going through with that plan you came up with a few months back. ❞ Koji stated as he wrapped his arms around Niven from behind, that was when he was able to notice Niven brush over his face as if to wipe something away. ❝ Niven? ❞
Niven knew the second Koji wrapped his arms around him that he was a goner. He took a shaky breath in, “I’m fine. I’m sorry. It’s just been weighing on me lately.” He turned around so he could hug Koji properly. Tears falling fully, “I don’t want you to help me with that, and then us being together comes out and it hurts you. At the same time though he just won’t back off.” He knew his reaction might seem extreme, but even Koji didn’t know the full history. Niven had mentioned in passing that Blake had shoved him and he got hurt when they broke up. The memories from that night wrecked Niven every time he saw his face. The pain and then the absence of it. The ambulance ride. Waking up in the hospital. Everything flooded back just from seeing Blake. Having him threaten him only made it worse.
He moved to pull away from Koji so he could wipe away his tears, “I’m sorry. He just brings back some really negative feelings and memories.” He knew eventually he’d have to tell Koji everything that happened that night and the full extent of his injury. He just didn’t even know how to bring it up.

“Are you sure, I kind of already printed the coupon. I’ll gladly have you, free or paid. You seemed to enjoy yourself the last time so I encourage you to come again.”
“If that’s all it takes for you two to not be in cahoots you can have my personal cell number and my office extension.” He quickly jotted them down for his friend. He didn’t use his phone much. If he was honest, the reason Thomas didn’t have his number is because he forgot he would need it.
“I’m sure. I’d feel guilty if I went for free. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be.” He paused for a second, “Do you mind if I give the coupon to my sister? It might be nice for her as a way to relax. I know it’s something she wouldn’t spend money on without trying first.”

At any given time Niven has about 6 snacks in his backpack. He’s always eating something. At work he’ll have a pastry in the back that he picks at every time he gets a chance. He tends to prefer things like pistachios, dried fruit, and candy. He like chips occasionally but they’re definitely not his first choice. When he’s at home and wants a snack he tends to make things like kimbap and tteokbokki. It surprising to most people how much he eats considering how small he is.

He isn’t normally. He tends to find in the morning that he wakes up nauseous. He doesn’t like to eat breakfast because of it. On the few days he has off he’ll sometimes have a brunch instead. In those cases he tends to prefer a quiche or an omelet.

The first thing Finn does in the morning is make coffee. He tends to be a zombie when he wakes up, and needs something to start waking up his brain. He wakes up around 6 AM after all to get ready to go to the gym. After coffee he’ll make an actual breakfast. He’ll eat, brush his teeth, and then get dressed for the gym. Once he’s home again, he’ll shower and finish getting ready for the rest of the day.

It was partially due to the fact he wasn’t thinking about it while spending time with Koji, and partially because he was embarrassed.
“He is. I’ve been trying to deal with it on my own. It just isn’t going to well.” He could feel tears welling and he was glad that Koji couldn’t quite see his face, “He showed up at my work yesterday, but my boss dealt with it. I didn’t even have to interact with him.” He sighed and tried to subtly wipe at his face. He felt ridiculous for instantly tearing up when talking about this.

//It’s been quite awhile everyone!! I took a much longer than anticipated break. I found that I sincerely missed writing my muses and talking about them. I’ve since decided to start back on here. This will come with me editing my entire blog: getting rid of some muses, adding new ones, working on information pages as well as other things.
