I welcome my new safe space. A space where you don’t exist. A space where you can only find me if you care to look.

I’m not sure what I’m looking for.

It’s a place I’ve never been before

Open my own to get a quick fix of something

A unfulfilled ending, a regretful hit and miss of the expected dopamine that never came

It shot blanks into my veins just another day in the life of the moderately insane

Can’t complain

We did this to ourselves

Stuck looking, wishing at this screen looking for a release, looking for a way out, looking for a change that I don’t think exists

So why do I keep looking, picking you up every chance I get expecting something different? What am I looking for?

I want to go to a place where they don’t know me,

Where the stars can show me

My path, no more too and fro me

Just me,

Beyond the expectations

The boundaries, meant to control me

To be free would be a dream
