N.Flying’s Hot Potato is such a beautiful song. The lyrics are just so touching and relatable.

The first time I heard the lyrics to Sunmi’s ‘Heroine’, I honestly started crying. Hearing her sing about putting up with emotional abuse and trying to be perfect despite how poorly she was treated by her s/o struck a deep chord within me, as I’m sure it did for many others as well. Heroine actually gave me the strength to break free of that and no longer let “the show go on”. Thank you Sunmi. You are a beacon of hope for so many people.

Man, I wish Big Byung would have a comeback. Stress Come On! was such a bop and terribly relatable. It’s a shame they only had two music videos.

I really like ASTRO’s cute concept, but “Crazy Sexy Cool” was such a refreshing comeback. It was nice to see them do something more mature, especially the hyung line.

It’s hard to see the siblings of idols debut and seeing their group disband or are continuously in the shadows compared to the idol sibling who’s been doing well. It’s a different case for Dara and Thunder, also to Zico and Taewoon; but Sungyeol’s brother, Baro’s sister and Ricky’s brother didn’t hit as big as they did and it’s unfortunate.

I’m tired of Sistar not being included in the list of groups that changed Kpop, only because they weren’t part of the big3. They made the sexy concept mainstream, they showed that being a little thicker and having darker skin was fine too. They had bops that Korea absolutely loves, they worked extremely hard without a big company backing them and not to mention they had the cleanest disbandment ever, no disputes and no member changes and had never had a song outside of the top 10. Legends!

I’m surprised that a lot of more people don’t talk about Wonho’s love(?) for his fans. He always brings them up in videos, has a whole “Monbebe” necklace and his smile when he talks about them is just so precious and genuine. I wish he was more appreciated for that than other things people focus on. (Not saying the other members of Monsta X show love too.)

Day6’s ‘I Need Somebody’ should have been one of their Every Day6 songs with a video. It was amazing and I don’t know why they didn’t feature it more.

I seriously feel bad for Jion of NEWACE. Allkpop posted an article about NEWACE and everyone was making comments like, “what planet is he from?” “he looks like park boms failed brother” “all plastic and no human”. That can really hurt someone’s self respect and self esteem. For all you know he could be really hurt by these comments. There were maybe 2 comments saying they feel bad (i was one), and the rest were absurd and rude names and comments. Let the poor boy be! So what he looks different?

While I didn’t necessarily like all of their music, I really appreciate what Sistar did for Girl groups. They were really outspoken about predatory behavior and made sure to warn the younger girls. They were also very free in expressing their sexuality. I’m glad that the members were able to come to an agreement and are on good terms still, hopefully sometime in the future they’ll release a song together again. I hope they do well in their individual endeavors!

I love how Jihyo from twice can make fun of herself. It’s so funny when she says she looks like Thomas the tank engine and does an impression of him. I just like how she doesn’t get offended and take herself too seriously. I know I don’t know her personally but from the interviews I’ve seen of her-and all of twice when I think about it-she seems so down to earth and funny. But I feel like all of twice are really down to earth.

Eli went from a teen struggling to even be able to eat, living in a country where he was still learning the language, to a member of a close-knit group and a husband and dad with a beautiful family and I’m honestly so proud to see how far he’s come and how happy he is. I hope 2018 is good to him and the other UKISS members (and ex members)

I love how comfortable Joy is with herself. She’s so confident and classy and I want to be like her.

I love iKON’s Junhoe. His voice is unique and so beautiful so it breaks my heart that he’s locked in YG’s dungeon and that he’s in a more hip hop focused group. I feel like his talent is being wasted

When i first got into EXO, I assumed Kai was super confident/arrogant because of his stage persona and I didn’t think I’d like him. But after being a fan for a few years now I can’t believe how shy, hardworking, kind and humble he is. The way he beats himself up whenever he’s not perfect (like when he cried at Elyxion because he made a mistake after staying up all night practicing and felt that he’d let the fans down) and the way he’s always reaching out to fans, supporting charitable causes etc, he’s always just trying his best and trying to make people feel happy
