❝i suppose that is the downside of dating me, the bad decisions rub off on others way too easily.❞ morgan’s eyes widened. she never knew if it was possible for adults to even like her, her parents pretended she never existed, and everyone else in her life she thought found her a burden on society. ❝first of all, i never made you go, you had a choice and if you didn’t want to i wouldn’t have pushed it. second of all, where can i find a mom like yours? third of all, i think my ass hurts from sitting so much.❞

morgan stuck her tongue out. ❝i’ll believe you for now…liar.❞ she raised a brow, genuinely surprised that marina agreed with her. ❝aw babe, don’t start wearing leather jackets and crashing your truck into trees because then i’ll know i really need to clean up my act.❞ she bit back the urge to kiss her again as she didn’t want to overstep her boundaries too soon. she wrapped an arm around her waist, debating on standing up just yet, she was rather comfortable on the floor with her. ❝i won’t give your mom any more reason to hate me than she should.❞

“i’d teach you, but i’m a pretty bad teacher.” she laughed. “oh, you’re marina? morgan never shuts up about honestly, it’s cute, i’m juliet.” she smiled.

morgan rolled her eyes. ❝that’s exactly what a liar would say,❞ she teased. her face lit up with excitement, she never got to skip school with someone else–occasionally with her best friend but not with a significant other or girl she was seducing. ❝she doesn’t have to know, and i’ll take the blame. i’m a good bad influence after all,❞ she mumbled, leaning in to peck her lips.

“i guess that’s understandable.”

❝liar! you don’t need to say that to make me feel better babe,❞  she chastised her. suddenly an idea popped into her head. ❝wanna get out of here? we can totally skip the rest of the day if you want.❞

morgan sighed contently as her eyes opened again and her gaze moved to her lips. ❝that was incredible–you’re so incredible.❞ she shook her head in disbelief.  ❝i’m serious, you deserve more than lil ol’ me, i’m literally so lucky.❞

“not even verbal fighting? i mean, i understand physical fighting because i’m terrible at it too, but verbal is kind of easy.”

morgan wasted no time in deepening their kiss. of the countless times she had kissed others, this felt the most special, except for maybe the other one that she shared with marina at the dance. right now, all she could focus on was marina’s amazing lips and how lucky she was to have this girl be hers.

“you can’t be that bad, we all grew up surrounded by fighting, so it can’t be that difficult.”

morgan actually found it so adorable that marina was using her thumbs to find her lips and she had to suppress visibly swooning because of marina. she eagerly reciprocated the kiss, squeezing her eyes shut as she moved her hand to cup her cheek.
