keeping notes on when the beatles appear unexpectedly in my normal background life is exhausting. they're literally everywhere. they've always been there. and they always will be.

The Beatles and Me on Tour, Ivor Davis (2014)
It must be awful to hate John Lennon because he's simply eternal and you can't pretend he doesn't exist. As a fan, I feel lovely. A never before released John Lennon's song in 2026 in The Beatles' Rubber Soul Deluxe Edition.
When The Beatles had a few beers and we'd dropped some pills it was all fun. Pretty often we were all filled up with the stuff, partly because Preludin was so easy to come by. As a matter of fact it was sold on prescription in the pharmacy as a slimming pill. Consequently the pep-pill situation got a little out of hand, and one of the results was that we spent many hours talking uncontrollably. This - combined with the fact that all of us had just learnt to let go with each other - made us involve ourselves in hour-long discussions about our innermost needs, wishes... you name it, we talked about it. We really let it all out. I remember one specific morning that was very much one of those times. John and I had been rapping on and on. We went into the coffee shop by the Top Ten, and there was little Paul sitting all alone at a table, his jaw just rolling with prellies as well. He screamed out, 'Talk to me, someone please talk to me!' So of course we continued our talk as a threesome!
