Hello.....I’m here, surprisingly. I’ll be upfront here, I’ve been really afraid to  be on this blog, for a lot of different reasons, Mostly....because, I don’t feel like I’m doing Mamura justice.

& I see so many better versions of him & I get frustrated with myself, honestly. I’m just....I guess like all people I wanted to be liked & not judged, you know????

What I’m getting at here, is I’m pretty scared...but, I’m going to try to do my best....I’m going to give it one more shot b/c I love Mamura so so so much.

Crimson hues follow the female’s movements, only for a brief moment before looking back to his cell phone; she seems a tad bit peculiar - almost as if she was a foreigner with that light blond hair. But, Daiki’s one to talk.

Crimson hues follow the female, he’s half tempted to ignore her....but, even that’s too difficult - it’s easier to give a flat out answer.

Daiki would rather not have the girl move any closer - being around females...is still a trial.

Snow had recently covered the streets - temperature lowing to almost freezing levels....Daiki can’t believe the luck their school had, to visit such a small town - only to have it snow them in.

Couldn’t they have picked a warmer area....with a nicer beach? That’s not all that much to ask, right? And, out of sheer frustration the male kicks up a small amount of snow into the air, only to see a splay of it fall onto a girl around his age. 

Daiki stops - brows furrowed, he’s tempted to simply walk away without a word...however, Suzume would certainly chaste him for not apologizing.

If today was the day to be stressed, upset, or hung over about something, then the songbird was certainly ‘celebrating’ it. These past few days have been really stressful for her, and she thought the best way to cope was to get away from it all.

Resting herself on a branch high in a tree, she laid back against the trunk and closed her eyes, thinking that sleeping on her troubles would make them go away. However, a few minutes into her nap she was interrupted by a loud noise passing her. Quickly she sat up and got herself awake, trying to figure out what the noise was. 

When the sound was right under her location it caused her ears to twitch slightly, and she finally figured out what the noise was… it was music. Wait, music! That always helped her out of any slump, so maybe it would do so for her now.

Carefully she jumped down, using her wings to stop herself from landing and keeping her slightly in the air. After taking a moment to pinpoint where the music was again she flew up behind the person without a second thought and simply stayed at their side, enjoying the tune.

Daiki continues to keep a steady pace, unbeknownst to the world around him, only weaving through crowds of people when necessary; even he’s not sure where his destination is. The male’s simply walking - freeing himself from thoughts, previous pent up feelings; only looking to lose himself in the crowd. It’s liberating, almost so much so that he forgets about Suzume for a few extremely brief moments....something that doesn’t happen quite often. 

Suzume’s like the sun....and, he’s the earth - revolving around her.... amazed by the sight of the female...near blinded by the light she radiates.

And, he’s lost in the moment - until, he stops at the corner of the street; crimson hues glancing down to a small....girl? At least that’s what he assumes....she must be a cosplayer....or something of that like. Either way, the female is way too close for comfort....and, Daiki’s quick to fumble backwards - pale skin igniting a fiery red, embarrassed to the core.  

As long as he didn’t deliberately pull his ears, and he didn’t scratch too hard, then the experiment was fine with whatever method he used. It felt great either way, and he tilted his head upward, leaning into the touch. Giving him attention had worked well in the alien’s favor! He hadn’t gotten pets in forever!

At the statement, he instinctively reached a hand up around his neck, feeling for a collar that wasn’t there. Oops, he must have left it at home with Scrump…

Oh well, no harm done. As long as this kid didn’t try to bring him to a shelter.

Daiki continued softly rubbing the dog, before he got bored of it....and, the rubs reduced to gentle pats on the head; animals truly take too much work. Suzume is more qualified for this - she’s able to dote on animals more easily. 

The male assumed the animal had an owner, who...hopefully wouldn’t mind if Daiki borrow- ed the dog for a few hours.

“Of course. We do have some small portions  available for sample – here, it’s our basic tofu,  but it’s still quite good.”

Daiki briefly stares at the tofu, actually quite surprised the other male even offered a sam- ple - although, the blond’s expression speaks otherwise, still as emotionless as ever. 

Still, he takes a small portion of the tofu to eat, chewing ever so slowly - Daiki wanted to be absolutely positive about this. He pauses before swallowing - nodding in satisfaction.  

Suzume deserved quality tofu...nothing less. 

“Wait, I’ll help you look, if you really want me to,” Ren offered again, stepping up behind the male. “Wouldn’t it be easier to find her with two people searching?”

As much as this wasn’t his problem, Ren still couldn’t help but to offer his help. He wished he had this much help with Nora when he was younger.

Daiki swallows - crimson hues briefly shutting in frustration,  honestly - people like him are nosy; can’t he be satisfied with his previous denial ? If he wanted help - he would have said it....plain and simple. 

Help - isn’t what he needs, this is Daiki’s business alone.

Daiki shuffles around for a brief moment, unsuccessful in finding the item he desires....and, rarely does he ever speak to the store clerks...much less ask for assistance - but, he’s absolutely lost.  The country is....odd - this store is a mess....and, he yet again ponders why they took a class trip to this small town. 

Wasting time is high on the list of pet peeves for the male - so, he’ll simply have to grin....and, bear it. No sense in everyone back at the inn getting upset with him for spending hours on end finding a few simple items.
