"Platinum... I can't control it, when I get like that... I can't really think straight.  I just think about how I hate every single damn person that thinks this is funny.  I just... I can try... I'll try... Please... No one else can know... I don't want Silvy to know..."

"Then why did you make us like these in the first place? Why turn us into freaks, then kill us when you say we're in pain? But… Pearl was. Thank you for helping him end it. I truly am. But have you thought how Dia would cope? Or how I would?"

Gold just stared at his hands.  Why had he done it? He just couldn't really remember.  His head was starting to hurt again.  "...I'm sorry... I don't... I just..." Gold rubbed his head before sighing.  "I never thought it'd go this far..."

She looked at him and took a breath. "Please… if you need, cry. It shows sincerity. My questions. Why did you kill Pearl? Why not me? I am the burden to him and Dia. You should have took me out. Not him. And why, why did you do that? And maybe you can't stop alone. Let me help you. I am useless now but I'll do everything I could!"

"...I killed Pearl because after I realized that he was suffering so much... I wanted to end his pain... He would have died anyways... I just wanted to... I didn't hurt you.. You were still doing so well..."

"I… I can't believe it…" she stared at him, before look ing at the floor. "You. You were the one all along. You stole the boy Dia considers a brother. You stole my best friend. You hurt all of us…" she said shakily, before grabbing tightly to him. "Gold. If you want to change. Turn back into someone we trust, I will help you. Anyway, Silver doesn't know, no? I'll keep it a secret if you want. Just… just give me some answers first. Please."

Gold squeezed his eyes shut, the tears were threatening to spill over.  Crying was for babies.  "I can't.  I just can't... I've tried to stop but I can't.  Trust me... If I could stop I would... I'll gladly answer your questions... It's the least I can do for killing your friend..."

"You… Gold you are imagining things! Don’t say that! Please! I trusted you… I trusted you so much…" she stared, before hugging onto him tightly. "Please don’t say that… you are not that monster…"

Gold shook his head before pulling away.  "No... Platinum... I'm the Chairman.  Lyra knows, Fire knows, White knows, Black knows... I'm the Chairman... I hurt them all... And I'm sorry... But now that you know... I don't know what to do..." Gold stared at Platinum with sorrow filled eyes.  "Now I'll have to tie up some loose ends..."

"Huh? What was that? It almost sounded as though you said you were that horrid man! Please correct me. What did you say? Your speed was far too fast in that statement. Sorry for thinking that you said you were the chairman."

"Platinum... I am... I'm the... I'm a damn monster... I'm the damn Chairman.  I fucking killed Peal! I hurt my friends! I hurt Silver! I am a evil and cruel beast! I'm sorry for everything! I'm so fucking sorry."

"Gold-! Please stop crying… please… You did not do anything wrong… you are not the man who poured acid on my best friend, you are not the man who killed my other only best friend, and you are no the man who did this to me! Please… don’t cry… you didn’t do anything…"

The guilt was getting to be too much.  Maybe Gold could admit the truth and pretend he didn't say it.  Gold opened his mouth before blurting it out.  "I'mthechairman!" Gold said quickly, probably saying in a way that wasn't understandable.

"Admit what? Wait, you have chased off that mean bully who took away one of my best friends right? Thank you! Or you have defeated that chairman freeing everyone?"

The tears started to sting Gold's eyes.  Everyone had believed in him.  They used to go to him for help and yet... They had never known the truth.  "I'm sorry..." Gold choked out.  He wanted to explain it desperately.  How he just couldn't help it, he wanted the madness to end but couldn't stop it.

"No need to say sorry. Thank you… You are just so nice… But what happened to Pearl… never mind. But praying to Arceus seems to be working… I always pray that Dia will be fine… that the evil chairman won't take him away from me… like what that mean bully done to Pearl…"

You have to tell the truth sooner or later... Can't keep lying.  "Platinum... I need to... I need to..." Gold bit his bottom lip.  He was very nervous now.  He wanted to tell the truth.  "I have to admit something to you..."
