Okay so I’ve seen a lot of commentary saying that Wednesday isn’t great bc of Morticia and Gomez and Wednesday saying they’re trying to mould her into something she’s not, and that the Addams parents would never do this. I agree.

HOWEVER, I feel like it’s important to remember that Wednesday the series is told from Wednesday the characters point of view. And in it she’s a 15/16 year old girl. I do not know any teenage girl that didn’t have a bit of a rebellious period against their parents and what they wanted, and in the actual show me see her parents being quite supportive.
