George was very invested in the building of the community house and other aspects of the server. A lot of his streams were him grinding materials to make the community house better, such as finding the coral that was in the lake surrounding it. Him and Sapnap even shared a pet fish: Beckerson.

At this point the Dream Team were very close and were very tight nit, with family like bickering constantly taking place such as Sapnap and George wanting to turn Dream’s bedroom into an enchanting room, whilst Dream was persistently replying with ‘it’s MY room’

Then: Tommy joined the server. Along with Dream, George was the first person to greet Tommy upon his arrival to the server before they consequently imprisoned him for killing George. George was a lot more vocal and present at this time, being viewed much more as Dream’s equal and someone to look out for.

Fast forward to the creation of lmanburg. Whilst Dream was much more the spokesperson for the ‘Dream SMP’ side of the conflicts, George and Sapnap were by his side in every moment and even took it upon themselves to threaten lmanburg’s citizens in order to get them to ‘comply’ to the idea of a united SMP.

As war broke out, George was a very present figure in any battle that took place. He helped set off the explosives in lmanburg, was Dream’s right hand man in the duel against Tommy, he helped with the recruitment of Eret and was even the person to take Fundy’s first canon life in the Final Control Room. He was not merely a silent follower of Dream through this either, he was very opinionated, along with Sapnap, on the affairs taking place. Dream even promised the land of the Dream SMP to George for the day he would be king.

Then, lmanburg became independent.

We don’t hear much from George until the election. This is where a shift in the Dream Team dynamic that was so very present on the server begins to click: Dream began to take a more authoritative role over the server and people began to see him as an independent figure as opposed to part of a trio. Sapnap became more recluse and George ended up switching his loyalties from the Dream SMP to lmanburg for the sake of the election: though his ideologies stayed the same.

When Quackity asked George to be his Vice President for Swag2020, George was very dutiful in his role: he took part in debates against the opposition, helped campaign and supported Quackity when it was his time to debate: He was still a very active member of the server. But then when the election took place: something switched and his character on the smp would never be the same. He slept through, and this one action not only led to a number of irreversible events taking place on the smp, but also led to George becoming a less active member of the smp.

After the election took place and a coalition government was formed with Schlatt2020, George started out as a present member of the cabinet. He help tore down the walls of the newly named ‘Manburg’ and stood proud with Quackity, voicing his old Dream SMP ideologies that the lack of the Manburg walls finally made the country part of the SMP ‘family’: something George has always stood for.

However he became less and less active: even Schlatt noticed his disappearance at this time. At this point, Dream and George were (metaphorically speaking) miles away from eachother: Dream was completely against the Schlatt government, the same government George worked for, however neither of them seemed to acknowledge this.

Despite this clear drift in the Dream Team, they remained to be viewed as a formidable trio, with Techno saying to Tommy ‘I’m not getting involved; you got the entire Dream Team online and against us’ (or something along those lines) after Tommy accidentally got them in a bit of trouble, causing all 3 team members to log on.

Last minute however, Dream switched up: he became a supporter of the Schlatt government and him and George began to have a facade of closeness upon this action, with both of them messing around with eachother whilst each having the nation’s flag on each of their shields.

Through all this, George was living in a house with Sam, with Sam becoming a more fatherly figure to George.

As war broke out for the resurgence of lmanburg, Dream called George aside and subsequently dethroned Eret as Monarch of the smp in order to make George king, as he hoped that George would be the apathetic ruler he desired. George then spent the war building a house for himself, keeping himself away from any conflict and completely dismissing the fact that his own government was being overthrown:

After he built the house however, Tommy and Ranboo destroyed his home. George was distraught and wanted Tommy to have a consequence for his actions, even going as far as to try and steal the leaves from the lmanburg tree in protest. As a consequence of this, Dream exiles Tommy.

This, along with the fact Techno tried to kill George on two different occasions, led to Dream publicly dethroning George, leading to George’s iconic line of “just say that you hate me.” George had Quackity and Sapnap loyally at his side however this was big for George: for the first time it was clear that he was no longer Dream’s equal, but just another server member like everyone else.

George began to rebel, he built a new country with Quackity and Sapnap named El Rapids and stole gold from the throne Eret sat on, leading to Dream trying to blow up El Rapids, causing George to have to flee to the Holy Land as Dream began trying to kill him, Quackity and Sapnap. This was the last time Dream and George saw eachother.

George became absent from Dream’s life and almost everyone else’s lives too: even being absent for Dream’s imprisonment. He began to become dazed and no one knew what was happening with him anymore: he was unpredictable but not in a dangerous way, people were more scared for him than scared of him: a big contrast to his earlier role on the SMP.

As Quackity began to become more focused on other matters, El Rapids remained vacant, leading to the creation of Kinoko Kingdom: the creation was led by Karl and supported by George and Sapnap, though George didn’t seem mentally present for any of it. He was completely unaware of everything: even unaware of the fact that Quackity was not a member of their kingdom.

It is later revealed that George is just in a constant state of either dreaming or thinking he’s dreaming: he is unaware of the world around him and what is and isn’t real. In some clips he is seen standing alone outside of the prison waiting for Dream, whilst in others he is under the belief that Dream isn’t in prison at all and is there with them.

This is also revealed to be a result of an infatuation by DreamXD: George has recklessly cheated death countless times with his involvement in the server, so XD has kept him in a constant state of either sleeping or just complete derealisation: this way there is no threat. This effect can even be seen as far back as the elections, where George did not have to face the consequences of his involvement because he was simply not there. It’s theorised that this was always the intention of XD.

Now: George has no enemies, no one knows what’s happening with him but he doesn’t pose a threat in his state and that seems to be enough for everyone. No one seems to resent him for his actions of siding with Dream, one of the most hated men on the server, because he isn’t himself anymore. The George that sided with Dream all that time ago is not the same George walking around today.
