What do your dragons' type numbers mean?

Oh good question! They refer to the enneagram personality types. That's actually how I came up with them, and why there's nine of them!

Looks like the freckle gene is semi-broken rn. Seems to be broken in different ways for different colors... Terracotta seems right to me, though

The top two (flint and mauve) have a harsh cutoff between the first and second tiers of mane curls. The first tier is clearly freckled, while the second tier and everything past it (including leg fluff and tail) matches the basic gene

The bottom left (mist) has a division in the same place. Though it does technically have freckles, they're very subtle and hard to make out, and definitely do not match the freckles on the first tier or on the wings.

The bottom right (terracotta), however, seems to look normal.

I'm iffy on the mist (might just be an artistic choice that I'm personally not a fan of, and that's okay), but the top two examples deeeeefinitely have some issues.

Looking at this again, I think I see the problem: the top two actually DO have some freckles (they are super hard to make out, but look closely and you'll find them). It seems like the freckle gene is applied by lightening the base color, then adding freckles of the base color and a shade or two darker over top. None of these examples have the lighter colors past the first tier of curls-- including the terracotta example. It just looks closer because the difference between the base color and the darkest freckles are more pronounced. Compare the wings and the leg fluff to see the difference the best

Humanized Sonora by @kookukecartoons

This is mostly for fun bc a lot of her story (and the other Rest Stop 10 dragons) is deeply connected to the site mechanics and breed lore.

Sonora is a trans girl. She was born a guardian, to a father obsessed with tradition and legacy. His charge, and his father's charge, and his grandfather's charge were all the same: a dingy diner in the middle of the desert. Sonora would grow up, she would find her charge in the diner, and she would accept her destiny.

Except Sonora didn't want any of that. And so she ran off in the middle of the night, purchasing a silhouette scroll and a wildclaw scroll from a shifty stranger, and seizing control of her own identity. When she returns, she finds that the population of her entire hometown has vanished, leaving the diner abandoned. And so she must begrudgingly accept her fate as its keeper.

But things will probably change for her.

Right?
