SHUTTING DOWN.

Hey friends,

I've had a lot of time to think things over, and I've come to the decision that I no longer want to pursue writing with this blog. Don't get me wrong, I love my muses here, but writing canons just doesn't seem to be my thing. It's not making me happy, and that's why I'm writing exclusively on another blog now.

@fledermuse is an OC multimuse I've created which features all sorts of fun characters with bios and verses that are easily accessible, and the blog is moderately active. Follow there if you wish, and if not, no hard feelings.

Additionally, most, if not all of my icon sets that were utilized here will be moved for free access at @fledermaus-icons in case anyone would like to pick those muses up.

I thank those of you who have expressed interest in my work and supported not only my journey as a writer, but as a person. Many things have changed over these past two years. In these uncertain times, I hope you all stay safe.

Hey guys. If you haven’t read already, an act is attempting to be passed in the United States which will take away internet freedoms and destroy the right to privacy through encryption. Call your senators. Vote NO on the Earn It Act. As per usual, they’re making it off to be a huge positive that will protect children, when in reality it will bar LGBTQ+ expression, destroy privacy, adult content, and likely they’ll even dip their grubby hands in to censor important racial topics.

202-224-3121 is the line to connect to your HoR and senate. Tell them you’re looking to vote no on the bill.

I compiled a list of my personal favorites from the guilt free icons tumblr, feel free to share around. There’s pokemon in here, as well as a few misc. characters from Disney, Nickelodeon, and so on.

I'm sure some of you have noticed that I gush about my OCs on a discord rp constantly. Weeeell, now I'm considering adding Phil as a muse somewhere when I can do so. I don't have icons or a fc for him, and I might have to change a few things abt him bc he's content heavy, but basically:

(MANOR VERSE)

Phil Rosette is a traumatized man in his 40s with copious amounts of medical problems and issues. Though he suffers from schizophrenia, he copes with it well under medication and therapy, and works hard to support his family in the Rockefeller manor. He has three children there (not counting two fruit bats, Lee and Aster), Sandy, Ed, and his youngest, Harper. He has three partners. George, Virgil, and Ludwig. There are many additional whacky characters which live in the manor.

Most notably, Phil and Virgil have "feral" spells. Due to a curse received from amulets provided by Gef, a mongoose living within the manor, when distressed the three's minds shift to become more animalistic. Virgil becomes bat-minded and aggressive often, fashioned with permanent bat wings, fangs, and strange ears, while Phil becomes dog-minded with permanent teeth that are just a bit too strange and a bit too pointy to be human. Most often, Phil is docile and non-aggressive, either fearful or eager to play and very food motivated. He is extremely dumb when he is feral and makes very poor decisions. But we love him anyway.

(PRIOR VERSE)

Takes place before meeting George, Virgil, and Ludwig. Phil is just as traumatized, but for the most part he is a normal man with no ferality. Unfortunately, he is homeless, and feeds his addictions to cover past abuses.

OKAY SO I KNOW IT'S A LOT and it's super wild and outlandish but TRUST ME... He's Baby...... As long as you're okay with darker themes (which would be tagged appropriately) he's really just a Cool Little Guy. And this gives me the opportunity to test out co-rping.

So I talked with Points about it and she told me she's comfortable with occasionally stepping in with her characters, Virgil, George, Aster, Ed, Paul (the servant), etc. for the manor verse. I would show her the reply, she'd text me her response for her characters, and I write it down alongside the reply with my characters.

Which brings me to my next point: icons. 

I have a ton of icons still, and am willing to hand them over to whoever asks. You can ask for multiple, and as long as you don’t fight over them, I’ll give out the same icons to different people, because different people have different portrayals and writing. You are also more than welcome to use these as faceclaims for OCs.
