Big thanks to everyone for spreading the word, as always. 🙂

Taking into account that I'm also an onco-wife, so to say, it feels like sometimes things are really over the top. I'm still overwhelmed. But we're moving on. So it goes.

Every time I load my current save it makes my heart soar - I'm still not used to how overwhelming the game can be, especially when the setting is one-of-a-kind.

I spent some time populating the mind-blowing Cronor by @crowkeeperthesimmer and @nornities by seemingly proper dwellers, and it feels like it has paid off.

Thank you for this gloomy yet mesmerizing world. :)

There are already numerous guides and lists of what features and hidden gems this game has, so my small list definitely doesn't pretend to compete with them or whatsoever :D I just want to share my own findings that I haven't come across as proved things wherever online so far. They're all random and sorted by EP, of no practical value, but still!

Base Game:

1. When using normal coffeemakers, all available drinks usually have long and pretentious names. However, there's one trait that will let you see a unique option: if your sim has No Sense of Humor, their default option will be Plain Coffee, and they will see habitual wordy options only by looking for other options.

World Adventures:

2. If you're so "lucky" to be cursed by a mummy while already being cursed… you'll actually benefit from it as the timer of your curse moodlet will be set back to 14 days!

3. If two active sims will simultaneously dive into two interconnecting wells, they won't be able to do it - both of them will get out of the wells, and there will be a message (actually, two messages, one per every sim) telling that there's something in the way.

By the way, I've come across a situation in custom tombs when my sim couldn't dive into a well and got the same message. I've never had the same situation in original WA tombs and never learned what it was.

Pets:

4. If you click on a toddler book with a pet as an active sim, there'll be an option "Read…" - unfortunately, it's not implementable. :D

5. Sad but true: if a cat vomits, a dog can eat the… result of the cat's action afterwards.

Meanwhile, I'm happy to share my simple tuning mod that solves the problem of stray adoption in The Sims 3. Now the option "Adopt Stray" is available right ahead, so there's no need to spend your lifetime on building a relationship with that cat or dog anymore!

(📝) Currently Working On: My documentation covering all the recipes in my Mods folder - I used to be a technical writer and am actually a fan of order, so I make documents for most things like that - and my health issues. It's been almost 4 years since I gave birth, and the echoes of that event are still here.

Update if anyone cares: all skins discussed in the comments are perfectly safe to use, since the issue is caused by Enhanced Bodies by jvsmith (ง •_•)ง (that was unexpected as hell, but still).

That family was a bit more than meets the eye, as it was a remarriage for both him and her; each of the spouses had their own daughters from their first wedlocks, and they got a common daughter, too. I rarely let this sort of soap opera occur in my games, but this is how it turned out there. :D

As far as I can see, most Western eating traditions mostly recognize cooked eggs as independent meals, and they're typically breakfasts. But, having been to Asia several times in times gone by, I really enjoyed their simple, but cool idea of adding a egg, fried or boiled depending on the course, to rice, meat or seafood and whatever else in order to enrich any meal and have it in its own way (it should definitely be an absolute standard in Japan, Indonesia, Philippines... I guess, many countries there).
