favorite thing about them: all of her just kind of as a concept. that she's the smallest and the sweetest and everyone loves her but she also loves everyone so much and she's so happy to be there and be alive and she's so bugeyed and odd and also red and black and spikyyyyy. one of my favourites ever.

favorite line: "sunlight through the trees in summer/endless masquerading" is not only my favourite line of jemima but also my favourite MOMENT IN THE MUSICAL HHHHGHH i still can't watch it without getting chills. oh it's wonderful.

brOTP: jemima & coritanto my beloved. i should draw them again. i sort of envision coritanto to be her guides/caretakers when she needs help but also her dearest friends. i think they understand her in a way she struggles to be understood by anyone else.

OTP: honestly i think she deeply needs to be everyone's friend & that's about it. i haven't thought too much about her & others romantically.... i think her & victoria would be very fun....

random headcanon: i think she's demeter's daughter (and mac's; hence magical) but demeter has Nary A Maternal Bone in her body, so jemima sort of gets brought up by The Junkyard Conglomerate™. it's Good.

unpopular opinion: i still prefer to call her jemima to sillabub... i think because that's how i knew her first. i know why they changed it & i think sillabub fits her fine, but especially once i conceptualized them as two different characters jemi was sort of set in stone for me. that being said, i guess i was wrong about myself preferring tumblebrutus to bill bailey because of the name itself, it might've just been me doing some good ol source supremacy when it comes to adaptations. i can never escape...

hey so filming people without their consent is weird. you know that right? filming people you don't know and they aren't aware of what you're doing is creepy. posting strangers online is fucking weird. we're too comfortable with doing it now for shits and giggles, chasing some sort of viral hit instead of reckoning with the fact that you posted someone who did not consent to their body and face being publically used.

we're being pushed these Meta Glasses as if mass surveillance of strangers is fun and normal! it's weird!!! there are already reports that people are using these to film women without them knowing and sharing it to communities who get off on this shit. who else knows who people are filming. these glasses with cameras are not obvious and that is dangerous.

Domestic violence survivors, former trafficking victims, former cult members - all of these people rely on the ability to not be found again. Putting people's photos online absolutely endangers their lives. A cheap joke online is not worth the value of someone's life.

dan's wife forgot not only his daughter and son but also she forgot marrying him and that is so sad how is he a villian all he did for nineteen years was try to comfort and protect his wife and you're calling him a villain. gabe was also his baby. he had to push away his grief because his wife was mentally ill and then they had another baby that it turned out his wife couldn't love because she was still grieving their son so he had to raise that child basically on his own. and then their baby would've been eighteen and the emotions come crashing back and he spends pretty much a whole year (probably) looking after his wife while also constantly being reminded of his dead son. and THEN his daughter stole his wife's drugs and his wife flushed her drugs down the drain and he was just TRYING his HARDEST to keep his family together because one more hit and he would lose his wife too. and then after all that trying his wife doing ect and forgetting his kids and their wedding and her love for him but the only person she remembered was him. that's a whole lotta responsibility to put on his shoulders while he's grieving. and THEN STILL AFTER ALL THAT TRYING she still left him.
