dan's wife forgot not only his daughter and son but also she forgot marrying him and that is so sad how is he a villian all he did for nineteen years was try to comfort and protect his wife and you're calling him a villain. gabe was also his baby. he had to push away his grief because his wife was mentally ill and then they had another baby that it turned out his wife couldn't love because she was still grieving their son so he had to raise that child basically on his own. and then their baby would've been eighteen and the emotions come crashing back and he spends pretty much a whole year (probably) looking after his wife while also constantly being reminded of his dead son. and THEN his daughter stole his wife's drugs and his wife flushed her drugs down the drain and he was just TRYING his HARDEST to keep his family together because one more hit and he would lose his wife too. and then after all that trying his wife doing ect and forgetting his kids and their wedding and her love for him but the only person she remembered was him. that's a whole lotta responsibility to put on his shoulders while he's grieving. and THEN STILL AFTER ALL THAT TRYING she still left him.
