A distressed appeal from DIR EN GREY's Kaoru against 'the evil concert venues' being resented because of COVID-19
Musicians are indignant because of the wave of calling concert venues (live houses) 'evil'.
There's a huge damage to the music industry because of the COVID-19. A person related to a music agency office pointed out 'nowadays the CDs don't sell, instead the earnings of most music companies come from concert ticket sales and merchandise sales. The bigger companies might be fine as they have some savings, but there are only a few companies like that'.

Kaoru says 'during the tour in Europe when I entered some shops while wearing a mask I was being stared at a bit. The way of thinking about using masks is different there (it is worn by the sick people only), so I can understand that, but I felt really affected by it'.
The inpact on the regularly held world tours is unavoidable.
As the number of cases keeps increasing in Japan and abroad it will take some time before the entertainment industry manages to restore its image.
