FAMILY & ORIGINS

What is your full name? 

Valerie Mun/Satsuki

Do you have any nicknames? 

Val, Raccoon Warrior Princess.

What is your relationship with your family like? 

I love my parents. Maybe I was lucky on being an only child but my parents have always supported me in whatever I wanted to be even that one year where I wanted to be a circus performer but without the animals since I didn't want to hurt them. They spent a lot of time with me growing up and I've always appreciated that.

What are your parents’ names, backgrounds and occupations? 

Gabriel Mun. A first generation Korean American. He actually grew up in Washington before heading to the east coast for school. He's a graphic designer.

Hoshimi Satsuki. A Japanese immigrant originally moving to the states for school. She met my dad in college and married him a couple years after graduation. She was a music teacher. She died a couple months after I graduated high school.

Do you ever want a family of your own someday? If so, with who or what kind of person? 

I'd love to have a family someday. With who? I don't know. I guess someone I love I know that's simple to say but that's what I want.

RELATIONSHIPS

What is your current relationship status? 

Single because of Netflix

List any past serious relationships that you have had, and give a brief overview of the relationship(s). 

I've had maybe one serious boyfriend in my entire life. We had a couple classes in high school but we didn't talk until he needed some help in history and it just started from there. I think I fell for him because he was a great musician. I'd say it was a pretty good relationship, I don't know I have no other to compare? The reason we broke up was because my mom got sick and I just couldn't handle anything else. He tried to be supportive but I just couldn't have him near when she needed me. I haven't spoken to him since high school.

Do you have any bitter enemies? If so, who are they and why? 

I don't think so. Maybe anyone who tells me Disney movies are nothing but trash but I can't think of anyone.

Describe the people closest to you. Who are they and what are they like?

I wasn't that great at making friends when I was younger so I really don't know. I'm really close to my dad and I worry about him being alone at home. Here in Seattle I don' think I'm achieved that close bond with anyone. I do really love my roomie Trisha though, she seems to always be around to help me when I need something and then there's Eli who seems to support my goal on becoming a raccoon queen.

How do you think others generally perceive you? 

A flighty oddball who needs a rabies shot.

What are your greatest fears? 

Losing my dad.

What are your life dreams? 

To ride on one of the Thanksgiving floats.

Do you have any obsessions? 

I have too many to list. Obviously I love animals. I watch too many movies and shows especially with Netflix around. I have feelings over books.

Secret hobbies? 

 Does dancing in my room when no one's looking count?

What is one thing you want to change about your current life?

I wish I wasn't such a pushover sometimes. Maybe I could be less weird I don't know?

LIFESTYLE

What do you do for enjoyment? 

I like to sing, read, watch movies, tv, eat, hunt for critters, I'm open to a lot of things.

Do you have a look or style? If so, describe it. 

I guess I'm all for what the day feels. I do like things that has a flow to them like dresses and such.

What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself? 

You mean I don't have insomnia now? I usually end up watching another episode of something.

Are you an early bird or a night owl? 

Sometimes I'm an early bird sometimes I'm a night owl. Right now, night owl.

Are you a tidy or a messy person? 

I'm pretty tiddy.

What is your favorite type of music? 

Pop music, Top 40's,Broadway, R&B Classics, I'm open to a lot of music but I like a lot of fun things.

Favorite foods? 

Ice cream, desert, sweets, anything sweet. Sushi, french fries, I don't know I kinda love food.
