Phenomenon Serendipity Multiverse

Let me set the scenario that was the struggle of a writer rising once more but successful this time around! For the past several years, I was trying to experiment a lot of stories I want to write. I went down a route of writing a story based on fanfiction but I didn't edit it, I was desperate and I was already losing my frigging mind! I realized I was one of those people like EL James, Anna Todd, etc. It wasn't a smut fanfiction turned novel, no, it was a novel about portal fantasy with a twist. But then I realized I haven't developed much on minor characters or anything else. I realized, "Damn! I think I need to start over!" I tried and tried but nothing, nada, zip! It felt like all was lost but I didn't want to give up. However, every time I came up with an idea, my brain was rejecting it over and over again. I just wanted a story about a weird girl doing crazy things and she's the most craziest protagonist ever, someone people could relate to but everything sounded overdone, stereotypical and I changed it over and over! I felt completely lost. It wasn't until one day, that's when I start writing again but this is the premise of this new story idea: a girl who is popular however she's secretly a weird, nerdy type of girl but due to her abusive father and evil stepmother controlling her life, it became impossible and she was in an inner circle of shallow, judgmental pretty privilege people that pretended to be her friend however they backstab her. AND SHE SNAPS!

How did I get this idea? I guess it started one month ago in the first few days of May; I watched a YouTuber, toldbyreem, and one of her videos known as Why Are Female Main Characters All Written Like This Now? and there was one thing she mentions of doing something different with the unpopular girl and focus on a popular girl which she says: "Why not try a main female protagonist who is popular but doesn't feel seen by the people around her, she's constantly praised but only because it benefits others and she knows that. The flaw to this she stays in that environment, because she's afraid of losing that status." This one sparked an idea. That sparked the idea, at first I wanted to do a popular girl getting swept up in chaos but I stopped and was like, "What if I wrote a fantasy about a modern day princess but she was controlled by her abusive father and cruel stepmother and she's in a crowd of shallow friends and other folks?" So that's what spark the idea! I was coming up with the first line in my book that I perfected. I realized I need to make it seem like I was writing a chick flick-like novel (Chick Lit, if you will!) but I wanted to surprise my readers with the fact that this isn't your typical chick lit story, this is also a weird girl lit too. A girl who is like other girls but she couldn't find her own place because being in a space that was toxic and not safe for her weird self so she puts on a mask.

This is a story I've kept to myself because I don't want to name names here but I will say, my mom like this pastor on social media while she got me to like him too. I do like hearing his prayers and also bringing praise. However, one day it all changed: This pastor guy started doing 'what would you do' questions. And one of them stuck out, "If someone revealed to be trans and lied to you about it, would you still be their friend?" Some people said no but I answered with the honest answer which was: "Yes, because I bet it's hard to come out as trans because they're scared." And then it happened: These followers replied back negatively about it, I was trying to defend myself on the fact that people who are transgender are finding it hard to come out because of what people might think. I got mocked for it, even the pastor put me down for it. I felt so upset, so shocked by this pastor. Here was a man of God who preached about prayer and all that but now he was also one of the people who was shaming me about still being friends with a transgender who lied about their identity. I deleted my response comment and unfollowed him. I was reluctant at first because of my faith so I didn't want to but I did.

I felt so disappointed, I don't care what churchgoers or anyone else says--I understand we're imperfect beings but a pastor needs to form a middle ground and remember to love God as He loves us. But why kind of pastor would go against me like that? The guy could've just disagreed and say that it's my opinion or agreed or whatever. Maybe I was wrong in this. Maybe they were wrong or maybe I need to be careful sharing my opinion online. I never told my mom, she too is an ally of the LGBTQ and she does her best to listen but I couldn't tell her because I thought maybe despite that she would support the dude still. Or she might've dropped him too and I guess she never told me why. I know I'm making assumptions but I also think gay pride and religious folks still have this issue of acceptance and being considered 'a sin'. But even though I'm not gay or bi or pan or any of that, I'm autistic and I always wondered 'If they think being gay is a sin, is autism a sin in their eyes too?'

So yeah, that's my story. I know you guys question how can I believe in God when it comes to stuff that. And I'll give a fictional example: This character isn't gay but he could count as someone that understands what it's like to be different. Nightcrawler, he was born a mutant but he kept his faith in God despite how different he was and was very kind despite being a dork. Kurt aka Nightcrawler understands what it's like when the world feels to be rejected but when you have your faith in God who looks beyond that, it makes you see things differently. In truth, be like Nightcrawler from X-Men. No matter if you're autistic, gay, a different skin color or simply different, God doesn't judge and looks beyond that. It may be my opinion on things but sometimes people need love and acceptance. Isn't that we all want.

"What does that mean, you like Shadow Daddies? I thought you weren't a trope person!" First of all; I'm not into Shadow Daddy trope, it's tiring. And second, I think the Shadow Daddy trope needs a little more than just brooding, intimidating, etc. What if the brooding and intimidation is a facade and he's actually a yearning, dorky and loving but he's morally grey because not from his past--however from the fact he is taught about how cruel the world is and yet things don't work like a daydreaming optimistic person would think.
