Hearty Salmon Meuniere; Legend Of Zelda
This meal was filling and super hearty ;P
Ingredients: 2 Salmon fillets OR steaks Oil Salt & Pepper Flour 1 Tbs Butter, Melted 1 Tsp Soy Sauce 1 Tsp Lemon Juice
Instructions: Salt and pepper both fillets Heat up some oil on medium/high heat in the skillet, enough for there to be a nice layer all over the pan Once it starts bubbling cover both fillets in flour and place them skin side down in the oil. It should look as though the fillets are shrinking from heat. Let the skin side cook until it is browned Once it has browned flip the fillets over and let that side brown as well. PLEASE check the fish and make sure that it is AT LEAST at 165F with a food thermometer before serving. It needs to be cooked all the way through. In a small bowl combine the butter, soy sauce, and lemon juice. Place Fillet on a plate in the middle front. Put some lettuce leaves and grape tomatoes cut in half around the fillet and top with the sauce! Enjoy your adventure!!! *Authors note!* We had rice with it also and that really mellowed out the fish flavor and salty sauce and it was also fun to make a lettuce wrap out of everything as it tasted delicious!!!!
