new ba johnston album finally dropped lonely ontarian summer is so on

my main takeaway from this album is that ba johnston moved out of hamilton ontario which i didnt think was possible. well okay i think he lived in like regina or something at some point but anyways you’re telling me this man moved to brighton, england (maybe? somewhere over there). i don’t think he would survive in england. my other takeaway is that he got fucked uppp omg this is not a particularly heart wrenching album (its ba how emotionally hitting can it be) but nevertheless an incredibly potent breakup album like very concentrated. effective by sheer number. lastly the first single (in the bath with hank williams) is probably still the best song on the album but maybe thats just cause i relate to it a lot too lol
