Wrote this based off the leaked song from Shawn called Cold in California.

I remembered a time when it was her skin that warmed me and not California. It felt like a lifetime ago but really, it was only 2500 miles. I could call, I should have called but I couldn’t bring myself to hurt myself, or her again like that.

It had started off as a cute joke Shawn had one night when he was wine drunk in the kitchen. 

His cheeks were rosy, he was shirtless as you were making a midnight snack for the both of you.
